Do you suppose they'd finance the reconstruction by selling etched glass blocks?

Old news by now...

Dear Fluffy:

Do you think anyone would believe it if I told you that I signed on for the November '05 Free wheelin' cruise #2 land/sea Wonder trip to the Bahamas today?

January '04
May '04

December '04

oops...looks like I'll need a trip in January....

Nah, they're all in bed...

Well, Lynda, Fluffy says....
Why on earth would you want to go back to Nassau?

Well, Fluffo, I read on the boards today that DCL is releasing the water taxi in favor of buses, one of which has a lift, we hear....I could actually go to Atlantis....

So, what will you and the woofer do at Atlantis? Gamble?

Nah, I'll take him to the aquarium.

He liked watching the fish in The Living Seas at WDW.

It'll be a pre-Castaway Cay refresher course in indigenous fish.....

Maybe I'll show him a slot machine, too

of course we'd miss all that fine interaction with the native population....drugs, sex, all that....and no playing chicken with crazed Bahamian auto drivers....

which is just another Texas cliche'.

besides, a little known fact related to this is that there are far fewer noise abatement lawsuits now....

Why, they ask...?

Grapes don't moo.

:flower1: Good Morning Cruisers! :flower1:

Wow - 8 full pages yesterday! Wonderful!

We'll be at 9000 very soon. Did anyone claim it?

Nice to see our teen cruisers logging on and even starting their own thread.

Keeping all of you in the path of Frances in our prayers. Hopefully there won't be too much damage to CC or Port Canaveral. Stay safe everyone.

Off to read the boards and then off to work!

Man - I go to bed and wake up to 4 new pages...... I guess 9000 this week wasn't a far fetched idea after all.....

Back to work today..... dayshift - hopefully it won't be too bad....

Hope everybody stays safe from Frances (the hurricane that is)....

I think I claimed 9000 since I missed 8000.

Good luck to all those in the path of Frances. I've been watching and it looks like there's no way Castaway Cay won't get some impact. Wonder what it will be?

So I'll have to watch the post count today. I have a bunch of meetings here and have to take DS to scouts tonight, so if I miss out, don't worry about it.

Stace, congrats on the new room. Looking forward to the Par-tee! I'll have to go over to VA to get some local wine from Ingleside (our closest regional winery). I'm not super picky about my wine. My in-laws used to make their own, and if I could drink that, I could drink anything! Of course, they really liked Blackberry Royale made by Mogan David (the same people who make Mad Dog 20-20)!!

DH said that FIL had a short run at making beer when he (my DH, not my DFIL!) was a teenager. Now keep in mind that his family has 5 kids within about 7-8 years of each other, so at that time, there were probably 4 teens in the house, and one 20 something. Apparently, the parents went somewhere for a weekend and left the kids at home during this time. Like all good teenager, they threw a party. I guess it was a big party. But they ran out of beer. One of the boys decided to break out Dad's stuff. The party ended in minutes. Now you know it was bad if drunken teenagers wouldn't drink it !!!!!

Lynda, congrats to the fluff queen! I bow to your superior posting status (not to mention your superior cruising status)! I'm sure you could fit in one or two more cruises there somewhere! Enjoy!

Diana, I actually forgot choir practice on Sunday. Just had one of those brain days. Getting back into the routine just isn't easy anymore, is it?

Enough babbling. Everyone have a great day! Lisa

still on coffee, have boat training at 9 am, TOLD them i have a boat dont need too train on theres. so need to get moving and get things done will post this after noon or so

have a safe day all

Lisa - you are right - 9000 is yours! So I wonder when we'll get to it. Soon if it keeps up like yesterday:D

Good Morning Everyone!

I will try not to snipe pirate: 9000, but if I do sorry Lisa.

We definitely like corked wines, no screw tops for us. Although one I might bring along for everyone to try might have a screw top. It is made here in Iowa in the Amana Colonies, which is an old German settlement. I just have to decide which flavor to bring.

For those of you in the path of Frances, please stay safe and take care. We are praying for all of those in her path.

To the other Floridians - we're in Royal Palm Beach. I hate this waiting and watching part. Every projected path map is different!!!!! My DH is so pessimistic and keeps talking about our roof popping off. I like to think positively - prepare, but not think the worst is going to happen. I sent him to help friends/just to get him out of the house. I also worry about my daughter who lives alone in Gainesville.

I am not a wine connosiour (sp?) either. It's got to be REALLY bad for me not to like it. Heck, I lived on Sun Country wine coolers in college!

Anyone ever hear of "2 Buck Chuck?" It's got a cork, so it must be good, right?
