Guess we can use our cell phones to find a spot. Unless everyone picks a time/place for MVMCP...then the girls can do their thing. There will be a bunch of them, I think. Diana...are you guys going to be there, too?


We will all make it our sworn duty to keep the characters away from Cash. Too bad he's not allowed to bare his teeth at them.....

Hi all - checking in at lunch. Stacey congrats on # 8700

We won't be at MVMCP on the 17th (we'll be at Vero) but I can tell you what the DIS group did last year that worked out well.

We all met outside the Christmas Shop in Liberty Square. It is a great spot to watch the parade from. Just a short walk from LTT and right across from the Hall of Presidents where they do the photos. Unless you absolutely want to be on Main Street for the parade this is a good option. It doesn't get as crowded as other areas so it is easy to meet at. If anyone who is going to the parks early wants to have their buttons ahead of time I could mail them to you. That way you can wear them in the park and recognize each other that way. Just let me know and we'll confirm as time gets closer.

Stacey - yes, we will be at the GF also, but we are probably going to head over to the MK around 4pm since our ressie at LTT is at 4:30. Then after dinner we will see what we can do before the party starts. I agree, unless we pick a meeting place and time before hand( which is no problem) we will just have to keep in touch with cell phones. I know Britt would love to hang out with Jordan and any other girls there instead of having to stay with the parents. I just want her to take a picture with us, then she is on her own if there are other girls for her to hang with.

Last December we saw a "service dog in training" at the Magic Kingdom. We stopped and talked for a good long time b/c my dad was contemplating fostering future service dogs at the time.

No, we won't be at the party on the 17th. We are arriving at 10:40 pm that night, and staying at the Embassy Suites near the airport. I did this deliberately so that Alicia could attend one more day of school, so don't tempt me! Besides, we did MVMCP last year, and we are going back to WDW for three days after the cruise (our waitlist came through for OKW, yay!). DH is not fond of MK anyway, he just tolerates it for us girls. (He's pretty nice except when we talk about politics.) Those of you thinking of freeing your kids, keep in mind it's going to be pretty crowded at the party. I think it's one of the last ones, and it's a Friday night. If anyone will be there Thursday night, don't forget they will have the Osbourne Lights display at MGM this year.

So who is staying after, now that I had talked all of you into going before? I'm thinking Candlelight Processional on the 28th (next to last night for that), and maybe an Illuminations cruise on the 29th or 30th. If I am lucky enough to book it, we will have room to share!

Gregg, I know you can't help kidding. I've met your Dad, remember? You'll fit in fine around here.

Whew. What a day. I used DIF on my master bath walls to try to remove the wallpaper paste residue. The directions are easy..... #1 apply, #2 wait 15 minutes, #3 scrape with a putty knife, #4 rinse well. So I did that. Took me over an hour. Then I realized, that didn't get it ALL off! And there was no way I was going to attempt to paint again with residue left on the walls. So I had to use elbow grease and scrub every inch of wall. Over and over. And then scrub while I rinsed....twice. This better work!!!!!

Thanks for asking. She's ok. I guess she's "normal" for a puppy. Still needing to go out once, maybe twice, a night. ohiomickey is taking that shift as I get goofy if I don't get my sleep. She's learning her puppy preschool commands pretty well (sit, down, off, speak) She just cannot get the hang of "Let's go!" when we walk with her. She plants her feet and refuses to move an inch. Short of jerking her head off her neck she just will NOT move.....unless, of course, you are trying to get her to go in the direction she wants to go. (sigh) I'm sure we'll be tested on this at Petsmart this Saturday and she'll fail miserably. Either that or she'll do it to get brownie points with the teacher and the teacher won't understand why I"m complaining that she WON'T do it.

We'll be there the night of the 28th and definately doing Candlelight Processional. Gary Sinese - Yum!

Wish we could share the cruise with you, but we leave early on the morning of the 29th.

Hi everyone. Happy Tuesday evening.

We will be at the MVMCP with the in lwas. We have Ressie at LTT at 4:10pm. Leilani we will be there at the same time. Is anyone else going around that time to the LTT????? We would love to meet up with you all.

Very busy day today. I had the Brownie troop leaders at my house today to set up the schedule for next year. We have some awesome field trips planned and great badges we are going to on. After that I was off to work for a few hours. We just finished dinner and now I have to go shower the children. I will be back later to chat.

Screen name, I can't remember I've had it so long. It's my e-mail address, and it was my Ebay ID until recently. I've had it for years and years. We used to be the primary teachers of country & western and swing dancing in our city, and travelled around the country competing, teaching, and judging. Dancing was how we met and was our primary activity for years. Now we watch DD do the dancing. Anyway, since my name is Diana, I was "dancin' D"! Not so appropriate anymore, I'm afraid.

Bad news here! I was on-line booking our Hershey Park room, and just before I clicked confirm, I double checked the school calendar that came home yesterday. ARRRRRGH, they did it to me again! For the first time in the 10 years we've lived here, the kids DON'T get off for the county fair. They get off the following Friday. Boy is that going to raise some hackles in this county! But now that I'm pulling them out of 6 days in December, I just can't pull them for Hershey Park. So who wants 4 tickets, cheap? I can't believe that we can't go, but a 5 hour drive after school on a Friday night through DC traffic just isn't doable. It would probably be more like 7 hours with the weekend traffic, so we wouldn't get in until 11 or so.

Screen name. It's Tae Kwon Do Lisa. At the time we went on our first cruise, I was teaching Tae Kwon Do 4 days a week, and had just gotten my 2nd degree. I stopped teaching about 18 months ago now, when I moved into the job I have now. I do miss it, but no one was going but me, and the kids scouts was just more important.

Speaking of scouts, Gail/Linda, I just filled out my paperwork to be DD's cadet leader. First training in mid-October.

And Diana, DD thinks that Alicia's shirt was adorable, and that she should have been able to wear it for picture day. Of course, I fully agree that I would have made DD change too!
