Of course - Hurricane Frances - happens to have the same name as my wife....That alone would make me want to leave any coastal areas..... Not a good thing.... I thought a few years ago when there was a Francis - that we'd gotten by without any problems.... But - the minute that they named this one Frances.... I knew that we would be in trouble...

Also the same name as my sister....
the one my parents used to recite a poem to that went something like this:

There was a little girl, who had a little curl,
right in the middle of her forehead.
And when she was good, she was very, very good,
but when she was bad, she was HORRID.

So, if the name has anything to do with it, I feel bad for FL.

Linda - nope she doesn't frequent the Boards.... Can't get her to join in.....

TD - Her comments were actually something to the effect of - "If it's named after me - it'll destroy the Eastern Seaboard....."

That's the same poem my mom used to say about me :D

:wave2: Hi Guys, I'm Home!!!

Mary, my Mom used to say that poem to me all the time, too!
(Just had to throw that in there)

We had a good time, lots of fun & food......sadly, not lots of money. LOSER! Oh well.......

Wanted to say hi real quick, then taking the kids to eat.
I'll catch up on my readin' & writin' when I get back from dinner.

I talked to my TA last night and asked her if she knew the PSs were open for Liberty Tree Tavern and, after contacting a CM who said they weren't she said she contacted another who agreed they were....

I love these boards....

Yep - that just might do it.....

Of course - if the Young 'uns posted more too - that might help.... Awful hard for the old folks to type so much...

Well, now....see, you turned out okay!! :)

Actually, FINALLY, at the age of 47, my sister has calmed down a bit. Don't expect to get a word in edgewise if you talk to her, but at least she's mellowed.

Don't all parents recite that poem to the little girls at some point?I think I have with mine, even.

Welcome back, Stacey. Sorry you lost! We've tried to keep up the good work while you were gone, though. Seems like Gail should be back too.

Virgil, your Frances sounds like an interesting lady, looking forward to meeting her!

Have not. We were just going to eat at Casey's as we do for every MVMCP, but maybe we're due for something different. Especially since this will be our only BIG meal at WDW this trip. Is it a character meal at dinner??

Hi everyone.
We are back. It was a great trip. Bermuda was beautiful and we lucked out with the weather. We will go back hopefully next year and bring the children. Since we were last there in 1997 it has become a very friendly family island. They opened up a water park about 3 months ago in Kings Wharf along with Dolphin Quest. They also have a new zoo and aquarium. They have beautiful Crystal Caves and a pottery and glass blowing stores where you can watch at Kings Wharf. The pottery place even has an area for the children to pick out a pottery piece and they glaze it and then they come back for it once it comes out of there very large ovens. I also heard every Wedneday night in Hamilton that they have " Harbor Nights" where they have live music, rides for the children, face painting, horse carriage rides and the stores stay open till 9:30pm. They also have all the local artists come out. We were going to go but that is the one night it rained and it was cancelled. St. George also has a lot of history to see. Very old quaint town. The beaches are so beautiful. Our favorite was
Warwicks Long Bay next to a wonderful cove for children called Jobsons Cove. Your feet sank in the pink sand. I brought some home to show the children. Horseshoe Bay was nice but the sand was so much nicer at Long Bay. All the people we spoke to who went to the beaches loved Long Bay it was about a mile from Horseshoe Bay.

Well DH did well in the casino at the 3 card poker and black jack BUT he was not so lucky snorkling. He was about 10 feet out near a coral reef and he decided to feed the fish Cheerios as he always does. He always feeds them and moves away from the food but there were a swarm of white fish that had teeth and thought he was the food and they bit his nipples. I was with a women I met on the ship and DH was with her husband who is a scuba diver but he was not with DH when this happened. DH was walking toward us and he told us what happened. I thought he was joking but when he got out of the water he was full of blood. I quickly got medication to clean it out. Boy was he black and blue for a few days. He decided not to snorkel the rest of the trip.

On the ship the second night I heard a women on our floor had to much to drink and was on the floor with no clothes on. I heard security had to move her into her room. I am sure Royal Caibbean was not happy about that.

We met lovely people and the week flew by so fat. It was nice to be away but great to come home to the children. After day 5 I missed the children terribly and day 6 was DH turn.
We met a couple who had two sets of faterinal twin girls on the boat. There were two who were just 3 and the others were 3 months old. I have never seen two sets of twins from the same family and all girls. The 3 year olds were so good.

I have to catch up on all I missed for 10 days.

Anyway, it is wonderful to be back. Have sweet dreams everyone and I will be back tomorrow. Fondly, Gail

Welll.....some of us evidently have more trouble loving them than others...
I made my reservation for the Liberty Tree Tavern while the sun should still be casting a little bit of light (4:30) so Cash won't have to worry about those huge things creeping him out in complete darkness....:hyper: :hyper: :hyper:
