Stacey - glad to hear MSN worked for you. Mark's instructions were for the old chat so I don't think they would work any more. I could see what you typed so it was working (there was just a lot going on in there).

Wow - I got TOP - haven't had one in a long time!

If she finds one - make sure he has a lot of younger brothers and sisters to pass around to all the younger kids in the group ::yes::

Barb - I hope it isn't as hot down there for you as it was for us! Have a great time!

I second that motion!!!

Trouble is...weddings cost almost as much as college....especially if you have one who wants to get married on Castaway Cay and have her honeymoon at WDW!!! :scared1:

Stacey

Stacey - you just spoil yours........

Of course - my 19 yr old - mentioned that she'd love to get married someday at the Greenbrier........

I bet the CC wedding was cheaper......

I told her I hope that the prospective groom's parents were loaded....

Howdy, howdy, howdy! Been reading the last 2 days, but haven't had time to post! I am so glad it is the weekend...only 8 more days of school...yay!!!!!!! Had a field trip out to the lake today and got sunburnt BADLY...note to self for the cruise....don't forget my sunscreen! OUCH

GaRry---did get the PM on the tee-shirts, thanks!

Just a curiosity....anyone else a nervous flyer? I HATE flying and only do it when I have to under duress, but our WDW trip is coming up and I am beginning to get REALLY nervous. Butterflies in the tummy :scared1: :scared: Any advice???? I actually have not flown since 2000 when we went out there for our cruise. Prefer to travel by car, but going to Florida from CA with a 5 and 1 year old just isn't really attractive, either.

My baby Delia is 1 today!!!!princess: How quickly they grow!

Have a good weekend everyone!

I can probably guarantee you that the Greenbriar is more expensive. Truthfully, a "regular" wedding here would have cost me WAY more than DCL. We each had to pay for our cruise, of course, but to add the wedding was only $2400-2700 more (it's all a blur...) so it was a bargain! And beautiful. DD #2 is thinking Hawaii would be a good wedding locale.
I think you're right, Virgil....look at what I've created!!

Jeanette,
I am a total wreck when it comes to flying.....but I refuse to drive any further than the grocery store. It is a problem. I'm not really afraid of flying so much as it's the length of time in a confined space. I tried to chicken out of our first cruise. I was afraid I'd panic at being "confined". LOL.....I was astounded at the size of the ship!
Anyway, since you have little ones, my remedy won't be of much help. Drugs, and plenty of them. If I didn't, I'd have a major panic attack. Think how embarassing that would be! (Typical female...more worried about embarassing herself!)
If I don't take drugs (either a tranquilizer from the doc, sleeping pill, or pain killer) then I try to insure that I'm in an aisle seat so that I can get up and walk around. People probably think I have a bladder problem, because I go into the bathroom a lot, wash my face, take deep breaths, and talk to myself in the mirror.
(If any one of you guys tries to make fun of me, I'll break all of your wine bottles!!!!)
I make sure that I have a lot of light reading....People magazine, Reader's Digest, tabloids....nothing that takes much concentration. Hand held games like Yahtzee.....
And lots of munchies. Anything to keep myself busy. Definitely practice some deep-breathing techniques.
I don't know, but it seems like when my kids were babies, I didn't have time to think about hating flying. They kept me so busy, the time passed quickly.
Hope this helps.....if you'd like, you can PM me.
Stacey

Better yet...PM Virgil....he's an expert!

:bday: :cake: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DELIA!!!

Well, the ball practice ran late...so even when I went to pick up DS, I was there an hour. At least it cooled off to a breezy 91!

Heading for bed.....

SUPER SATURDAY MORNING TO OUR EAST COAST CRUISERS (AND EVERYONE ELSE, TOO)

Good morning everyone. Happy Saturday.

It was so nice to chat with you all last night. Mary, that is a great idea to go into another chat room with all of us.

DD has ALL of her recitals today in two different places. It will be a busy day.
I am also preparing for Ethan's third birthday on Monday. I can not believe he is going to be 3 in two days. We are going to be potty trained this summer!!!! He is still sleeping in his crib and we have a little tykes car bed all ready for him. I think that will be very soon as he started climbing out of his crib last week!!! Emily loved her crib we had to move her out when she was 3 years and 4 months! Anyway off to get DD hair done for today.

Rain, Rain go away!!!!!!!!!

Have a great day everyone. Gail

Good morning all! My apologies for not getting the June newsletter up yet. Work hs been busy and with the trip last week I just haven't had time. My plan is to get it up this weekend.

I don't have a lot for it, but I'll think of something :D

Sounds like everyone has some great plans for the weekend.

We're taking it easy. House cleaning for sure (I still have luggage in the dining room) :) Going to see Harry Potter tomorrow morning. Not much else.

Off to read the rest of the boards.

gaRry, it is so much better than a :mickeybar and corked wine :earseek:  .

Didn't book you a room since I can't do that anymore  :confused3 .

Congrats to the kids on their wins at the show :cheer2: .

Mary, I just heard that it's supposed to be in the 90's the next 10-15 days down there, I hope it's not too humid that's what I hate and can't stand. That's such a change from our doom and gloom and 61° today.

gaRry......I'd like to say that it's better than something else, too.....but it's not THAT good!

jilljill...I'll trade ya a 61 for a 111. Degrees, that is!

I hate the humidity too....at least ours is a DRY heat!! hehe
That humidity ruins my already ever-so-gorgeous hair!:scared1:

Okay, Mary....we're all ashamed and disgusted with you......how could you possibly let a little thing like WORK and a trip to WDW get in the way of our newsletter??!! Please! Give yourself a rest! Waiting a little longer for the newsletter gives pitiful folks like me something to look forward to!!!

Guess I'll go get some work done myself.

Have a great day, all!!

And gaRry.....congratulate the kids for me!! BRAVO!!
Did I mention I love rodeos??? Maybe DS will grow up to be a Bull Rider......or he could be like his dad, and be full of bull. :duck:
Only kidding....only kidding!!!

Outta here,
Stacey

Good afternoon everyone! :wizard:

jilljill: The AK event is Saturday at Coronado Springs and the AK after hours. I think it is sold out if you don't already have a ticket. Public Day is Sunday morning at the AK Island Mercantile if there are leftovers. You can see the pins at ODPT.com under Adventures in Pin Trading event. It should be fun...
No CM events that I can think of until the pin party on 6/24.
Ill be up there 6/11 - 6/15

Back to :sunny: and heat today. Guess I should get started on that Clean Sweep.... :rotfl: yeah right.....

The June newsletter is up! It isn't as full as some earlier versions, but I hope you all enjoy it!

I also added Jeanette's family photo to the photo gallery. Stop on by and take a look at that as well.
