Good night, gaRry.....way to sneak in and grab a T.O.P.!!
Nice to see you still haven't lost your sense of humor....sometimes I take those same pills so that I can't hear DH snore!!!

Mom got off okay. As tiring as it is to have someone here, it's always hard to say goodbye.

For some reason, my AOL isn't working......highly annoying. Can't read my mail. Used MSN to get on here. I should get rid of AOL altogether, but it's hard to have to start over with all that I have set up on there.

Guess I'll go try to "fix" it.

Back later.....also watching the D-Backs game....so not concentrating well.

GaRry - nice to see you posting. Hope you are feeling better!

Haven't seen Gail in a while - computer problems must still be happening.

So what does everyone think about the new cruises to California? Looks like it is getting close to being official. Personally I would love to do one of the repositioning cruises but honestly can't afford it time or money wise. This cruise is really beyond our means but something we really want to do so we are doing everything possible to make it work.

So who is going to sign up for a repositioning or Mexian Riveria cruise?

Well, since you brought it up...I signed up for a slot in a future possible repositioning cruise with DU last night and was one of the early dedicated cruisers to sign on for the dream when the when Rae and Andy were looking for an itinerary and a date for their 50th Birthday cruise and began discussing the possibility of celebrating on a future repositioning cruise. I'm a little nervous about the whole idea in a purely selfish sense because right now, although the DCL ships are not of U.S. registry, they are required to comply with ADA standards because of where they load and unload passengers. No ADA, no Cash, the Verandah Dog. If the DCL ships leave Cape Canaveral, what then? Will DCL not be bound by the decisions of the 11th Circuit? Heck, I don't know. The whole switcheroo is so nebulous that I can hardly work up the energy to worry about it (I'm still packing for my first DCL cruise in over 10 years...busy, busy) but I sure would love to take a cool 14-day repo- cruise...(Although there are probably cheaper ways to visit my family in Southern California)....It makes me sweat just to think of the cost....not to mention how much a suitcase full of dog food for a cruise that long might weigh....I wonder what the on-board credits and DU incentives would be for this cruise...Should I sign on while I'm on the Wonder May 16th to 20th? Might have to give up retirement and get a job... and start lifting weights, too... HAHAHAHA....

Lynda.....two swimsuits should be plenty. One can dry while you wear the other. If it isn't all the way dry, you can use the hair dryer on it. Also.....I'm not too busy next week, and I only weigh as much as 3 or four bags of dog food......(won't say HOW BIG a bag)......

Mary......WE would definitely be up for a Mexican Riviera. I talked to a CM Friday, and she said they will be announcing very soon, but she seemed to be leaning toward telling me that they will NOT be sailing out of California, because of the lack of a port facility like they have at Port Canaveral. She seemed to be saying that there may be a "special" sailing out of PC and probably back again.....but no permanent plans to stay in California. It does make sense....been to Long Beach numerous times, and there's nothing too attractive about it, nor does there look like there's room. She did admit that DCL realizes that they are losing a ton of money from the West Coast and would LOVE to have that money...so it is a thought, anyway.

Still didn't get my AOL back. At least I can access my mail through MSN. But what a pain. Everything is in there....files, favorites. It looks like I'll have to uninstall it and reinstall...but I don't have a disk, and I have some fun (really!) yard work to do today. So I can't mess with it.

Cash......no nekkids!!!!! I took the cutest pictures yesterday of Ash and Molly.....they were playing in the back yard, and Molly finally go tired of this young little piece of fluff bugging her.......so she went and stood in the middle of her pool (a kiddie pool) because she knew Ash couldn't reach her there! I swear she had a look of smug satisfaction on her face!!!!

Hi everyone.

HAPPY SUNDAY.

We are STILL having MAJOR computer problems. We realized that DH opened an e mail for a free screen saver. He wanted moving fish as a screen saver. Boy did that mess up the whole computer!!! I explained to him nothing is for free. A good friend of ours came over Friday to fix the problem and he informed us the entire computer has to be reconfigured!!!!! He had to leave and pick his son up from school as his child was sick. Oh well. Nothing got done. I did install <A TITLE="Click for more information about spyware" STYLE="text-decoration: none; border-bottom: medium solid green;" HREF="http://messagebroadcaster.net/bannerfarm/link/sw/sw.htm">spyware</A> and pop up nuker but they can not fully install because the computer is so messed up!!!! We have such a slow computer, I have trouble getting on and when I do it either freezes up or the computer turns itself off!!! We also have pop ups everywhere! We are so frustrated. Poor DH it is affecting his typing for work. It should be fixed next week. I am going to lease a lap top through Dell. We need a second computer. DH files are backed up but we still need a second computer. I was so lucky to get on today. It took me almost 20 minutes.

I MISSED YOU ALL!!!!!

When is Disney doing a reposition cruise or the Mexian Rivera???

Beautiful day in NY today.

DD is still on the medication for a few more days. We will take it from there once she is off the medication. Thank you all for your concern. I will keep you all posted.

Hi again everyone. I wanted to test the spyware that I installed and see if it would be faster to get on the internet. It helped for the time to get into the internet but the computer needs a complete overhall. I will be so glad when it is fixed.

Stacey, what kind of problems are you having with your computer???

DD has a birthday party to go to. Than we wre off to a Girl Scout meeting at 3pm to discuss and plan the sleepover weekend in June at Camp Blue Bay in East Hampton, NY. Than I drop DD off at home and DS has a cooking birthday party at the same place DD had her birthday party. We are also having my parents over for my fathers birthday this evening. Are you saying we are more like you in person than on here?!? Wow, if that's the case than everyone else should be very entertained for 10 days :happy2:

Gail....my computer is telling me that I have a software problem with AOL. I can still get online with MSN....but I want my AOL back.

Hi jilljill!!! You braved meeting gaRry....should we be very afraid? Just kidding gaRry....I have a firefighter friend, and his "toy" collection is trains.
Have another friend who has an old Mustang.....tried to talk them into selling it.....no one drives it anymore...but she said her dad still won't part with it.

Off to take Jared to baseball practice and finally hit Home Depot.

Rumor has it that Disney will reposition the Magic to the West Coast for Summer of '05 (to go with Disneyland's 50th birthday).

Rumors have been flying on the regular cruise board for a couple of months now. It was just added to the front DIS page yesterday and Pete sent out a pm about it. BTW Gail - I sent you a pm about a week ago that still hasn't been picked up

I expect these new cruises to be very popular especially with those who live out west. If they had been offering land/sea packages with a 4 day cruise and 3 days at Disneyland we would have done it. Looks like they instead will do 7 day Mexican Riveria cruises. We have no interest in that. Would love to do the repositioning but as I said we don't have the vacation time or money to do that - not with with the 10 day this year.

I'll be anxious to see what they have planned for the 50th at Disneyland because we would love to go back out and do that. We haven't been there since February of '02. We were at California Adventure for its first birthday!

Hi all


What a busy weekend. Had the March of Dimes walk this am. I am our hospital rep/team leader and the hospital is the Prematurity sponsor for the walk so I had to be there for the duration. The weather really did not cooperate it was cold and rainybut still had 500+ walkers for our county.

GarRy and DS had a great time at their breakfast. where they were warm and dry - hey maybe I should have gone with them.

I will get the pics sent to Mary for posting asap. Sorry I haven't done that yet. This week has just gone by too fast.

I just got home from our walk in Columbus, Ohio. It was also rainy and chilly (although I WAY overdressed and ended up having to remove clothes!) It was great to see so many people out there even though the weather did not cooperate. The sun did come out as I was drinking my post walk water! I'm happy now to be in dry, warm clothes!

Now, next task at hand...packing for our WDW/7 day cruise vacation. We leave THURSDAY!
