Hi all. This has been a rough week. First GarRy breaks a vertebrae & now Gregg's horse.
The DD, DS & I did make it safely to my parents in Fla. Will visit WDW next week when gaRry gets here.

Looking forward to meeting jilljill and WVMD (see I spelled it right this time, no more leaving out the m).

You all have a weath of obscure facts. Perhaps we could assign Lynda to the trivia note of the week.
Speaking of weekly duties... weren't we supposed to have a weekly disney trivia quiz? Who is neglecting their duties?

Past my bedtime - it's been a very long day Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Boy, looking back on the posts from this week really paints a down time for some of our dear fellow cruisers (and I'm not even gonna get into reciting it all or adding to it) I just feel better about any of my recent life pains knowing that the point of all this verbiage is to give all of us an opportunity to share in the happiness we all feel in looking forward to such a wonderful vacation-to-come.

My turn to post, now that everyone's in bed. It's not that late here!

Just had a nice day with the daughter. She was off school, so she spent the a.m. at a high school drill team camp. No, she's not in H.S. yet, she was just checking out the drill team thing. She thought it was pretty cool, after all. After, we had a nice lunch and went and got prettiful. Both got our hair done, she wanted something special since she will be a teen on Sunday (oh no!). Then shopping for a new birthday outfit. She looks gorgeous! Where did my baby go?

Goose family, so sorry to hear about your sad week. Hope things are better for you soon.

I guess I missed the boat on the conversation for this evening, too. I left the kids home all day while I ran around, and have just spent the last hour (no kidding) removing all the stupid programs they installed on here. Wish I remembered how to "turn the clock back" on my computer....would that have been easier?

GaRry.....So sorry about the horse. I used to be a part of the race horse industry, and I know how hard it is. (Another little hint at my secret past life) And NO I wasn't a BOOKIE!
Also...please be careful with your back.....I had my first broken vertebrae at age 15, and now have four of them. Can't find a doc who can fix them, and not sure I'd really want them to try, anyway. It's still too risky, but mine is now degenerative, so they will continue to break. I have to be much more careful now. But it makes for good excuse to not do the rides I'm afraid of at WDW and DL!!!

Think I'll head in to bed now, too. Two rodeo performances tomorrow....long day. Will sneak in a quick hello in the morning.

We do not have a dog (might get one soon) but, in preparation for the big decision, we have already looked into one place that has been mentioned on the DIS with great reviews.

Check it out. It looked so fun our KIDS were saying they might want to stay there! HA! Don't tempt me!

I've been trying to get on here for hours. My computer is acting up something terrible. Can't quite figure out what is wrong.

YeeHah! My favorite part is the bull riding! I like to wear red and stand right by the fence, just to annoy 'em! Or maybe that's to attract the cowboys????

Anyway, Happy trails to you, till we meet again! (They always play that at the end of the rodeo). Have one more to go to tonight also, and the Easter Bunny has to prepare for tomorrow, so I may not be here tonight.......
