afff - I have to second Mary and tell you to buy where you think you want to stay the most. That does not mean you cannot get other places, (we stayed at Beach Club Villas 2 weeks ago and our home resort is Boardwalk) but the 11 month window could be a factor. We purchased DVC in 1998 (300 points), and we have added on twice. We now have 700 points. We have been to WDW every year since 1998 and used points on 1 cruise. We could trade out to Interval International but so far we have not wanted to. I am sure we will in the future. When we were in Hawaii in Dec we purchaed into the Hilton Grand Vacation Club, which uses points like DVC. We have points in Hawaii & Las Vegas and they can be used with RCI timeshares, so we figure our lodging for our future vacations is set. See, I told you not to get me started.

That just figures....I finally get home (9:45 pm) and everyone is going to bed.
DS had the 8:00 game tonight. After working all day, taking DD to the Ortho....barely time to get a few things done at home, eat and go to the game. I don't know how people do it who have more than 2 kids!

The video game cards can be purchased in the game room using the Key To The World card. On this last cruise, we gave the kids charging privileges, but told them if they misused it, they were going overboard (literally). DD bought one game card ($10) and DS bought 2 ($10 ea). So I think they did great. We could go in and buy them some for their stockings, but by Christmas the cruise will be almost half over, so I'm just going to let them buy their own again. DS is a pin collector/trader, so he's getting pins in his stocking. Guess DD will get jewelry or something small. The cruise is their present! (I know....Mean Mom is back...what a Scrooge!)
For some reason, I don't have the April newsletter. Remember that happened to me last month, too? It kills me, I look so forward to it! The March installment finally did appear for me, so I guess eventually April will, too. I don't have the new pictures, either. Maybe it's that old Pony Express thing....us way-out Westerners get everything later!
Going to go look around....spend some money....will be back with my good mornings.

Gail - Ocean City, MD is about 3 1/2-4 hours away for us -- even longer on weekend getaway days when it's one big parking lot between D.C. and the beach.
We haven't been there for several years now....but it's definitely fun in the summer.....and B-U-S-Y! My favorite time to go used to be in winter....the crowds are gone, the ocean is still there 
and it's cool to see snow on the beach from time-to-time.
HersheyPark here we come! You know who you are....let's throw out possible dates. My family can do Sundays through the end of June, then we could do the entire weekend from July on. With our SP, we get discount admission tickets for friends, so don't pay full price. This is going to be great!

uh oh - Charlotte - don't get garRy started on the cork versus no cork....... He's definitely a no cork type....
I already have a tux - and will bring it for the formal nights.... I figure I've got it - so I might as well wear it.... I don't mind getting dressed up - give me an excuse to get a Mickey vest and bow tie....That is of course - if I have room with all of the other stuff I'll be packing... and I'm sure that the 3 women.... (DW, DDx2) will need to be putting their stuff into my suitcase....
I walked into an ER with 15 patients waiting... Joy - have seen most of them - just waiting for test results..... Still have a couple in the waiting room - but no rooms for them...
I'll be back!

Charlotte, my DH & DS are going to wear tuxes. They each have several Mickey vests and ties. And cufflinks and tie-tacks. Disney fans?? Nah.

Virgil...yuk...busy night. We got the ER started this a.m. One of my employees cut his hand and got 4 stitches. I don't know what these guys are doing lately. 20 years, no accidents. All of a sudden, we have several. OSHA's gonna shut me down.
Anyway, just tell 'em to take two aspirin....you have Boards to visit!
Chili beer....yes, it does have a chili pepper in it. Like I said, I don't know how it tastes, I don't drink beer...but the young fellas that were here for the funeral and my DSIL said it was icky. The brewery makes really good Sarsparilla, though. We get cases of it when we do repairs for them!

Looking at my countdown timer.....52 days to Disneyland!!!
And some of you lucky people are cruising in 10.....or going to Hawaii.....
Virgil.....it could be a long wait for test results....I had blood drawn last Thursday and I'm STILL waiting!!
And, NO, it's not a little souvenir.....those days are LONG gone!
Actually, my blood pressure has been low (81/53) & the doc wanted to see what he could find. I'm as healthy as a horse, wish they'd quit bugging me. One of these days they'll actually find something, and then I'll really be bummed. Guess the doc should've been in Vegas with me...pressure was up there!!!
Speaking of souvenirs...I need to babysit my grandpuppy again soon to remind myself I don't need another dog! There were two Shelties at the ball game tonight, and it made me start to want a new puppy. (NO NO NO) One was asleep in her owner's arms the whole time, and the other watched the entire game without moving, except to jump at the ball every time it hit the backstop. He wanted that ball SO bad!

One of my best friends from college was in Phoenix for years......ran p.r. for a huge livestock show - called the Arizona National, or something like that. We were out to Tucson last February - I was so ready for sun and warm temps - it rained the entire time! But, we took a super cool night tour of the desert in a Hummer.....and for a few minutes, it actually snowed! In the desert! Who knew!?!
