For those of you who have been to St. Thomas...is the Main St shopping area close enough from the ship to walk to?
Is it worth walking to???
We have to at least get one cheesy thing in each port. My friend and I collect charms and refridgerator magnets.

Guess I'd better go get Jared so that he can eat before his game.

I'm going to try to talk Jay into taking Jared to the field...I'm still waiting for the accountant to call me to come pick up my corporate taxes. They need to be signed and post marked by midnight...our post office closes at 4:30......which means I may have to drive to Phoenix. Huge giant YUK.

P.S. Nursing home called today and suggested we come see Jay's dad. They said he's failing. I walked in and he popped his eyes open, smiled and reached for my hand. He did keep falling asleep, but when he was awake, he was pretty responsive. Guess he just missed me. It is probably still just a matter of time. Pray for Jay and his dad, please...if it's not too bold to ask.

I got on using my new MSN broadband...but I don't think that made any difference....
I think the boards were just overloaded, right?


Lynda.....I mixed the Nature's stuff with water and started spraying. That was way too slow, so I poured it on Molly.
She smells a little better.

Still airing out the house and have candles lit.

Jay did have to take Jared. The accountant finally called me at 4:30 to come pick up the taxes. I had to go get them from her, and get to the post office before it closed at 5:00. I got in line at 5 minutes to 5. Whew! It is easier having the corporate taxes due a month before the personals, rather than all of them at once....but I can't take the pressure.

As for the slow boards....I sat and munched while I stared at the screen, so can I sue for the weight gain like the people suing McDonald's???????

Lynda, DH wants to know if Cash will be wearing a mask & snorkel when he goes in with you

Not much else new today.

We got our tax refund that was nice! Not much else. Cold and dreary out. I want Spring!

I think with that long nose of his he could probably do without the equipment if he could just remember to stay submerged up to his eyeballs....That way his nostrils would remain out of the water except when he sneaks a peek at the fish nibbling his toes...The life jacket I got him (it fits like the bodice of a suit of armor and has a strap across his chest to keep his head up) will pretty much prevent the kind of antics he engages in while hearding submerged toads. I might have to spread some zinc oxide on his nose, however, to prevent sunburn....Cash, the hairy pseudo-lifeguard.....

I think we should let my DH volunteer to teach Cash how to use a snorkel, just for asking such a dumb question.

I really do need to head for Jared's game...but now that the boards are back up, it's hard to go. BAD Mommy! Put it this way, my oldest is 22, youngest 10. I have spent practically half my life on bleachers. It gets old after a while. BAD Mommy.

I booked our limo today. Is 40 weeks too early?

Didn't the US House of Representatives just pass a bill that is going to the Senate that says "People can't sue for eating at fast food restaurants?"

Dang, guess I won't get my cruise money that way from McDonalds after all.

Glad the boards are back to normal. Everytime I checked today I didn't have the patience to wait (too much work to do).

Anyway, it is 61 degrees here!

That's ok, I was so happy to be able to get on here that I had DD get ice cream for both of us. I didn't want to get up to get it myself for fear the boards would go again.

Now that I FINALLY got back on again....I am actually really truly going to the game now.
It's the only way Jordan and I will get any dinner tonight if we don't.

Stacey, I forgot to tell you.....my friend and I came to our senses and we are not going to CA in May. We each have too much going on right now and can't afford to be away for too long We are going to try and go later this year, I'll keep you in mind if/when we decide to go.
