Happy Monday all! Mary, sorry to hear about the difficult Mother's Day. That's a tough one.

As we were leaving church, DH got that blank look on his face and said "I didn't plan anything. Do you want to get lunch somewhere?" So we ended up at our oriental buffet. I really didn't want to wait in line, so that was fine. Now DH is feeling really bad, because I reminded him that we did that last year too. I just told him that as long as I didn't have to cook, I really didn't care but he feel bad anyway. I'll have to tell him about Stace's taco bell run, and maybe he'll feel better!

DD and I went to a very nice mother-daughter tea at our church on Sunday. She was happy cause they had her favorite, cucumber sandwiches. I think she was the only kid who ate one though!

Afff, welcome back. You'll have to share the highpoints with us. My mom has been to Europe, but she's the only one I know who has. Of course, come Dec, we'll all know Angela, who actually lives there!

Good morning everyone. Happy Monday.

Beautiful Day in NY. I am glad it is as they are sanding the extension and I will be outside with DS most of the day. DD has a playdate after school so we will go to the little park not to far from our house.
For some reason I am not getting my e mail response when you all post. I will have to look into that once I finish this post.

Our computer is STLL NOT FIXED!!!!!! Our friend is kind enough to squuze us in hopefully Wednesday. Mabye that is where the problem is???

Charlotte, Hershey Park sounds awesome. We are looking forward to it and meeting everyone.

We are planing my birthday weekend in July in Mystic, Conn with the kids. I have not been since I was about 10. I have been reading that there is a lot to do there. We are going to say at the Howard Johnsons right accross the street from yhe Sea Aquarium and Mystic Village. HJ has a Crayola hotel room that we booked. The children will love it. I got a great rate through AAA $125.10 per night and kids eat free!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Lisa, Her test is Next Monday 5/17 at 9:00am. We took her off all dairy products and the pain seems to not be as frequent. She has trouble right after eating and at night. Her sleeping pattern is way off. Her asthma has not helped the issue with her either. She had a rough weekend with that. Thanks for asking I will keep you posted.
Time to go clean the Guinni Pig cage before I p/u DS from pre school at 11:50pm

Happy Monday everyone. Well, for Mother's Day, I got ChickFilA Saturday night and they gave me a rose!!!! WOW.

DH was in passenger seat and he said to the gal (drive thru window no less), you should have given to me then I could have given it to her!!!!

Anyway, bought myself two new pair of pants and a pair of shoes. Told DH Sat. night and said thanks! He's not real good in the buying dept.

Went and visited his aunt yesterday, as she is only one left living in the brothers/sisters category of his mother/father. Lost both parents and each sibling has passed on in the last 10 years or so. Guess that's what age will do to you.

Not for me though, I will be 29 forever! (Cuz you know, tomorrow is my 29th birthday.............again!!!!!!)

Forgot to tell you, I tried to reserve our Christmas flights with my FF miles on AmWest.....they have those dates blacked out.
I checked Southwest....no blackouts for the dates I need., so that settles it....will definitely wait for Southwest.

Lots of spring showers and cool here today. Makes me wish for hot, sunny, Florida type days.

I was in Germany....have relatives there.

Uncle just turned 94. He is starting to really slow down now.

Not really too much to report. I didn't really do much. The weather was not the greatest. ( cold and rainy)
Didn't even get into the mountains this time because of the rain.

But I did manage to eat lots of great food...... schnitzel and roladen.
Drank a few beers and schnapps as well.
Gained more than a few pounds.
Tried to burn off some calories by walking and cycling. ( no luck)

I probably ate as much as I'm going to eat on the cruise. Tons.

Oh the locations.......Stuttgart area the first week and Munich area the second.

Good to be back now with the kids...... who by the way still don't know about the cruise.

Finally home from the game (they won)....and caught up on my e-mails.
It was a really nice night....very windy, but that cooled things down.
Do you think your rain will come this way, Paul? I sure hope so!

Coach was hosing down the field just about the same time the Ump was bent over cleaning off home plate.....pretty funny what happened next!!! Glad it wasn't OUR coach....I think the Ump holds a grudge! LOL

A Triple F.....94 and just now starting to slow down! Wow...I should be so lucky! Sounds like a pretty cool trip...lots of good food and drink. In my family, that makes a GREAT trip! We're the only people I know of that discuss where to have dinner while we're eating breakfast!

Well...can't keep my eyes open.......sooo

Happy birthday to Linda, and Leilanis hubby and Staceys daughter! I'm not gifted with those cyber cakes like Mary, but sending lots of birthday wishes your way!

Afff, I agree with Stace. Your uncle sounds like quite a guy! We have a lady at church (she and her husband founded the church, he actually cut the roadway out with a hand axe, and it's about 4 miles from the main road!) who's in her mid-80s. I really, truly thought she was something like 65. She's just a spectacular lady who is just so active! She still is heavily involved in our local rescue squad, which is not an easy task!

Both me and the kids have dentist appointments this afternoon, so here's hoping for a clean check up!

afff - Your uncle does sound amazing! Ahhh, German food - love it! We had a stopover in Frankfurt a few years ago.......went to the Christmas village area (Romer) and had the best meal and icy cold wonderful German beer! I am not a sauerkraut eater here, but I ate every single bit that night - it was yummy! I think I'd fly back just to have that meal again!
My ancestors are German - my Mom is into genealogy, so she's always wanted to go over someday. We have a great German polka hall here - called Blob's Park. Huge polka hall, live band, good German food.......it's tons of fun to go with friends, kids, etc. By the way, great job of keeping the cruise a secret still from your kids! They are going to be soooo excited when they see the ship!

Looks like another sunny, pretty day on the East Coast.

Forgot to mention - we heard Nancy Sinatra sing at HersheyPark Sunday at their free concert ampitheatre. She was good, too -- finished the show, of course, with "These boots are made for walkin". She called all the vets in the audience up on stage with her for the finale.....it was a nice ending.

Paul - We are doing WDW pre-cruise. Got our MVMCP tickets and ps for Liberty Tree Tavern early dinner. CP tickets aren't available yet. Had a wonderful CM on the WDW ressie line!

No WDW for us before the cruise, they moved the kids' school schedule around, and it looks like I'll have to take them out a day or two early as it is. Staying at the Hyatt the night before.
