Morning all. Charlotte, it's FINALLY stopped raining here. You know it's been icky weather when the kids even said "wow, the sun is shining!"
First trip to Disney. Everyone get out your hankies, cause I was a deprived child (lol), my first trip to WDW was a one day visit to Epcot on our honeymoon. DH and I had stayed in Marco Island at a condo, and drove over to Orlando for 2 nights, one day which we spent at Epcot. We wanted to ride the monorail, so we actually bought a ticket for the monorail itself (bet you didn't know you could do that, huh?) We had asked a CM about it, and they said "transportation is included in multi-park passes". We only had a one day, one park pass, so we spent the $1 each (I think) to buy a transportation pass. I think I still have the stubs in our wedding memory book.
We got in another one day trip when DD was almost 2. I had a training class in Orlando, and DH flew down at the end of the class w/ DD. We did one day at MK and one day at Sea World. About the only thing I remember was the carousel, which was DDs favorite ride.
After that, we took the kids when they were 3 1/2 and 5 during the 25th anniversary (remember the castle made up like a pink cake, yep that year!). We stayed at Dixie Landings and had a great time, but we only went into the parks 3 days. We did Sea World one day, then drove over to SW FL to visit my mom.
