We have a grandson 11 who will be joining us for our cruise and with his mom (daughter).

Ok, we are less than 11 weeks away from our Magical Easter Cruise. Does everyone have your lime-green Mickeys from Home Depot? That is the way we found the other DIS'ers at the DCL terminal last Easter. They are the paint chips in the Disney paint section at Home Depot.

It's not to early to get in touch with Shirley at The Perfect Gift http://www.theperfectgift.cc/
to order Easter baskets for the kids.

As for Easter activities onboard, I can only go by what Disney had last year. We were on the Eastern on Easter Sunday which was our day at sea. There was a internominational sunrise service @ 630AM, a Protestant Easter Service @ 900AM, and a Catholic Mass @ 1000AM. Also, there was an Easter activiity in the Atrium from 1030AM-!200N which had Disney characters, balloons, face painting and candy. The schedule will probably be different on this cruise since we will docking at Key West around noon.

That's all I can think of right now. Any questions? ( I'll try to get back to any questions before we're boarding.)

Hans Solo, thanks for the info. regarding Easter Sunday. Our travel agent wasn't able to provide details regarding any services. My kids will be just thrilled when they find out they will be attending church services on Easter afterall!!

Didn't realize that there was already a thread out there for this Easter Cruise. Thanks for the Link.

I will be cruising this Easter with my DH and two DS (12 and 10).

We went last Easter and had such a great time we booked it again.

I am in for the get together!! Thanks for the invite.

Just let me Know time and place!!!!!

Last cruise all the Disers went to Home Depot and got the Lime green Mickey Paint swatches (free) and wore them as we checked in. We all got to meet each other while we waited to embark. We should all do the same!!

Hans Solo..How is everything? Remember my family from the last cruise? If I remember correctly I think your name is Jeff. Looking forward to seeing you and your family!!

We are staying at the port canaveral Raddison. They have a complimentary shuttle to the ship on saturday morning and they are about 3 minutes away from the ship.

Glad your on the thread now. I have a list going for the Easter cruise and would love to put your information on it. You can email me at LNaylor863@aol.com with the following information: names & ages, cabin #, city & state you are from, late or early dinning, number of DCL cruises you have been on, and any special occasions you are celebrating on board. We are staying at the MCO Hyatt the night before, as I believe are several other people. I had the green Mickey's from Home Depot last year and will probably do so again. I also had a lime green ribbon in my hair last year so may do that again this year. It would be great to try to meet up with some people in the terminal. We plan to get to the terminal some time between 10:30 & 11 and we will not be standing in line but over on the couches by the Mickey ears.

If I get any new information I will try to have the list updated by the end of the week.

It's getting closer! I just got my excursion booklet in the mail, now I'm just waiting for the 60 day mark. I can't wait to do the jeep excursion in Cozumel!

Glad you found this thread. Yes, I remember some guy wearing a Yankee's hat with a lime green Mickey wandering around the DCL Terminal last year. My family ( DW, 14 going on 15yo DD, and 12yo DS) are doing great. It looks like your family and mine are the only DIS repeat cruisers. dcbrown had to change thier cruise to the week before Easter because of school calender. We'll be at the Radisson as well. We'll try to catch up with you there.

I see you are from Long Island also. Anywhere near Nesconset. Are you flying out of ISP. We're leaving on Friday on SW and staying at the Hyatt at the airport, then taking DCL trans to the port.

I see you have some kids around the 11-12 yr old age. we have a grandson who will be traveling with us who is 11.

I'm going to bump this post back to the top, maybe some more cruisers will join in. Almost 60 days to go. Ya Hoo. This cold and snow is really starting to reach me.

How I long for warmer weather, warm blue skies, WARM water sitting on a lounge sipping a Counch Cooler staring out into the beautiful blue skies and rolling seas.
