Hi everyone I hope you can add me to your Cruise List My girll friend and I will be cruising Easter Week too. My husband and I just came back last week end but I'm going back with my girl friend to see my daughter who is a CM. I know I'm lucky and feel very blessed to have this opportunity!! Hope to meet some of you on the Mickey's Magical Boat!!

We will have eaten dinner at Rusty's or Grill's and probably would be getting ready for bed.
DD and I will have to get up early to pick DCBrown and her DD's from the Magic. We will bring them back to the Radission to pick up their car. Our DD and DCBrown's DD met on last Easter's Magic cruise and have kept in touch. Unfortunately, the girl's spring breaks did match up this year so we will be meeting up with them as they come back before we leave. It won't be the same as last year but at least we will be able to spend a little time with them.

I am afraid that I have encouraged my daughters social scene to revolve around cruising....how expensive is that! Everyone she meets lives miles away....well at least they are on the same continent. Most importantlythough.....all have been very nice and well mannered....guess that comes from parents spending alot of money to let their children experience the world and the people in it!!

2 weeks from right now we will probably be sitting out on our balcony at Vero Beach, enjoying a drink and the sound of the ocean! Have any of you other DVC'ers been to Vero? This will be our first visit, and we have an ocean view inn room booked. I am really looking forward to our 1 night stay there!

No on Vero for us, only been to Boardwalk, Old key west, Wilderness, and Hilton Head. Will be going back to Wilderness again in August and staying also at saratoga Springs for a couple of nights.

Anyway, On Friday evening, we'll be enjoying a buffet dinner at "Boma's" in Animal Kingdom Lodge. That will be after spending the afternoon at Epcot riding Mission Space and possibly going to MK to see Mickey's philamagic. Maybe we'll stay and see "Wishes" at MK also before leaving and heading back to MCO to the Hyatt for a good evening sleep before gathering our belogings and driving tot he port for our Magical Easter Cruise.

I'll let you know first hand how mission space is.

Are you all set at the Radisson with your transfers, as I saw somemore postings of people cancelling their ressies and rebooking in Ron Jon. If you want I can always pick you and your family up and drop you off at the port after I drop my family off and before I turn the car in. We have a SUV rented.

Our kids have always been on Spring Break starting the Holy Thursday continuing the entire week following Easter Sunday.
But this year, the schools will be back in session starting the Thursday after Easter so our kids will miss 2 days of school toward the end of the cruise.
Evidently, the superintendent for the district received so many complaints from parents and teachers, next year's school calender has gone back to the original.

First, welcome momnut! How sweet that you are going back to vistit your daughter, I hope we get to meet her. Where does she work on the Magic??

As regards where we will be two Fridays from now, we will have spent the morning in MK, hopefully the afternoon in Epcot or Animal Kingdom. We may meet up with LeiLani at Mizners for a drink (if timing works out for all-I hope it does), then off with just DH for dinner at Blue Zoo. Can't wait! Next morning it is off to Chef Mickeys for breakfast (we will skip the character breakfast on board, too early and too rushed for my taste) and then off to the boat to find our fellow Diser's.

We have never stayed at Vero but hope to try it soon. We are using our points on the way home to try our first night at Hilton Head. Excited to see that resort.

Its getting ever closer and I still don't have a bathing suit. Ugh!! Oh well, I guess its off to the mall I go. HI HO HI HO

Oh Melissa, I just love HH! The first time we went there was on our way back from a 4 day DCL cruise a couple of years ago. We ended up buying an add-on so we can go every year. It is the perfect place to relax after a busy cruise! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

We definitely are at our house!! Even the battles over homework and those wonderful projects that the teachers love to assign right before a major break, are done with smiles on our faces!!

It sounds like great minds are thinking alike!! We will also be at the Radisson Friday evening, and our plan is to have dinner at Grills. We shouldn't be hard to spot, our DSs will be the ones that are so pent up with excitement that they will be bouncing out of their seats.
It looks like such a fun place to be, especially if the weather is nice that night. We have a reservation for the 10:30 shuttle Saturday morning (I hope we do anyway!!!) I better call this week just to confirm.

Welcome momnut it is great to have you join us. I have to second Melissa and hope that we get to meet your daughter. I have put together a list of all DISers on the cruise and would love to add you and your friend. You can email me at LNaylor863@aol.com with names, cabin number, city & state you are from, early or late dinning, and if you are celebrating any special occasions. Also if you let me know your DD name and where she works on the Magic I will add that to our list. Once you email me, I will send you a copy of the updated list.

Also, in case you have not read all the posts, we are in the Walt suite and are planning on having a DIS meet on Monday at 1pm in cabin 8030. We would love to have you join us.

Two Fridays from now we will be having dinner at Victoria and Albert's at the GF and hopefully meeting Melissa at Mizners for a drink. If anyone else is around you are welcome to join us. And this time on Saturday we will be in our Hummerzine and close to port. Actually if I go by Orlando time we will be relaxing in the terminal.

Well, we are off to do last minute clothes shopping today. Want to get it all done today because DH is on call next weekend and I never know if he will be home or not.

I might just take you up on your offer regarding the pickup and drop off at the Disney Terminal. I will be seeing my DW parents on April 9 and they will be leaving that night. I already called the Radisson and they told me at the rate I have I will not be able to make reservations for the shuttle until I check in. Go figure. A complimentary shuttle!!! Well anyway, My inlaws are not able to drive us to the port since they will leaving Friday night. We figured on renting a taxi. Where are you staying? I think you will be in Disney right? Let me know!!!!
I was also thinking about changing my reservations from the Radisson to another hotel. What have you read regarding people switching and why?

Did anyone catch the travel channel last night? It was great. It is unbelievable how Disney puts some much thought into everything they do!!

Thanks for the updated list Leilani and for coordinating the DIS meets. We got our green Mickeys and of course our 14 year old said I'm not wearing that. I like your idea Mouseclick!

We are so looking forward to the cruise. We are driving from New Jersey and plan on spending a few nights at Ron Jon's. We switched from the Radisson although I did not cancel my reservation there yet. Ron Jons looks like a great place to stay although we have no complaints about the Radisson. DH and I like to walk early in the morning and there really is not many places to walk near the Radisson. Since Ron Jon's is on the beach we figured we could just walk the beach in the am.

We re looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great time!!!

Hi everyone,

Just got back from work at a local radio AC station. I'm a PT assistant Engineer. Anyway,

Dennis,

We are staying at the Hyatt at MCO on Friday night. We are arriving at MCO at 1:30pm and heading off to WDW for some fun in the sun and also dinner ressie's at ALK, Boma's. Will try to meet up with LieLani and Melissa at GF before we head to dinner. Anyway,

There have been alot of posts about just what you are experiencing, not being able to make shuttle ressie's until the morning.

Anyway. I plan on droping off my family at the port around 10-10:30 am, Then returning the car and meeting up with them at the port and checking in. Since the Radisson is on the way to return the car, I have no problem picking you up and your family and taking you to the port. It's just a suggestion.

As time gets closer we can coordindate it closer, I'll give you my cell # and we can talk when I get close. Just a thought.

Anything to help another Diser and neighbor.

We're driving from Jersey too! I hate the drive, but my wonderful wife (WW) will not fly.
