Dan Murphy is coming for a visit, so that definitely calls for an Atlanta DIS meet. Here are the details, I hope you can join us.

When: Saturday, Feb. 28 at 5:00 pm

If someone were crazy enough to drive from WAY up north, would there be anything else for that person to do on Saturday evening (assuming that the group doesn't stay at Fuddrucker's until closing) or Sunday? Perhaps touring the Coca Cola Museum? Or Stone Mountain?

That's right close to the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park (civil war site). And to Kennesaw Georgia--home of "The General"--the story of The General was made famous by the movie The Great Locomotive Chase.

You could also see Stone Mountain and go to the top but almost everything else is shut down for the winter.

About an hour to an hour and half away is Helen Georgia--a true Alpine Village in the heart of the GA mountains.

And don't forget THE BIG CHICKEN---the hardest thing for this Northerner to learn was that in our neck of the woods ALL directions start with "you know where the big chicken is?" You better learn where it is if you want to get anywhere.

Downtown has World of Coke, CNN, Olympic Park, etc.

I must be because I just Pricelined a room in Marietta for Saturday (28th) and Sunday (29th) nights. Now that I have a room, I can't think of a good reason NOT to come. See you a week from Saturday (and Sunday).

I wish I could join all of you, but I will be out of town visiting family in North Carolina that weekend. My DH has to stay home and can't go with me - would it be okay if he came to the meet by himself? He would like to join the meet, but feels a little weird about going to one without me and our daughter. I told him I thought he would have a great time, even without us being there - he has become just as Disney crazy as I am!

It's not the beer. It's the decongestant. You know. The one that my prescription insurance refused to pay for. Between medical bills and a broken washer, it's a darn good thing that I pricelined that room in Marietta.
