Annette, glad to hear you are feeling better; that sounded awful. Speaking of awful -- Nikki, hope your DH heals soon. That really sounds painful. Hope the skin heals up without any complications.
Dean, thanks for posting that picture of Gary

, it's great!
Thanks for the tip on Snapfish. I am going to give them a try. I got my digital camera last fall. I ordered a few prints as a trial from Sam's (which I didn't think were great) and from Target which weren't bad, but I wouldn't say outstanding. Looks like Snapfish is less expensive than the Target prints were too. Now if only I could make the time to do it!! Finally this past weekend we viewed the photos via the TV. It looks like we have some great shots, so I am anxious to get some prints made too.
We got a phone call yesterday from
DCL. Ordinarily this would have been great news, but given the circumstances it's amusing....
We rebooked while onboard. Told Donna, the agent that we wanted to go on the Western in January 2006. Since those dates had not been released, she said to book for Jan. 2005 (same season for pricing purposes) and she would note in our reservation that we really want to go in Jan 2006. My sister's family did the same, so we were linked. We booked cat. 10 cabins. Well, DCL calls both our houses yesterday to tell us that we have been upgraded to cat. 8 deluxe oceanview, next to each other on deck 7. If we were really going then, we would be ecstatic!! But, we thought it was funny. I suppose not a coincidence either! Perhaps they are trying to get us to come next year, instead of waiting 2 years?!

Isn't unusual for them to make an upgrade like that so far in advance? In two DCL cruises we have never been upgraded, so I wasn't sure if they ever do it well ahead of time.
Hope everyone is doing well. I am getting hopeful (maybe too much so) that the worst of winter is behind us. Here's looking to spring!
