I have put a poll with this thread to see if anyone is interested in meeting for dinner or late lunch inside the Magic Kingdom before the start of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
If the MVMCP starts at 07:00 P.M., I think that a 5:00 P.M. priorty seating would be a good choice. We could relax, eat slowly, laugh, talk, take a lot of character photos and then sit outside the restaurant waiting for WDW to let us loose...lol.
We could also be first in line to get our free family photo, and pin before riding rides while the rest of the crowd "may" be waiting in line outside the gates.
But, last year, they let people enter Magic Kingdom very early around 4:00 P.M. and receive their MVMCP wrist band without a regular day ticket. MVMCP is a separate paid event.
And I hear that they could ride rides until shortly before 6:00 P.M. Then everyone in the park was either herded out of the park, unless they had their MVMCP ticket or wrist band. And the MVMCP was herded to the Tomorrowland area until 7:00 P.M. for the official opening.
I'm sure that some non-ticketed people might have hid or sneaked by the castmembers without paying for a ticket.
So I guess that some DISers might want to enter Magic Kingdom early at ~4:00 P.M.(unofficial and may not change), receive their wristband and ticket back and ride rides until they are moved over to Tomorrowland until the official MVMCP opening at ~7:00 P.M..
Others might want to do both and eat at 5:00 P.M. to 5:45 P.M at a restaurant and exit the restaurant at ~7:00 P.M. to enter into the start of MVMCP.
I have found that if I enter Magic Kingdom before ~4:00 P.M.(unofficial and may change), the restaurant manager comes around and exchanges your MVMCP ticket for a wrist band if I don't go back to the front gate.
See the poll.
