"Epcot Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Storytellers Around the World"
Date : Undetermined, which day would you like to do this.
Place : Epcot's World Showcase Plaza under the lighted arch walkway.
Time : Last year it was at 5:55 P.M., but before that there were carolers and carellinn player, so ~5:30 P.M..
DISers wanting to have a DIS Meet:

We could meet at the tree, and then walk around the countries and listen to the Holiday Storytellers, then stop by the American pavillion and listen to the CandleLight Processional outside or wait inline standby, and then watch Illuminations. If we did this, we may only be able to walk up one side of the world.
As you start planning, can you suggest what you prefer to do? Maybe you can pick and choose and catch up with us if you want to do something else. We can snack our way around the world instead of dinner, too. Or eat a late lunch and do one side of the world before 5:30 P.M. Then do the other side afterwards
Here is last year's(2002) "evening" times:
Tree Lighting Ceremony : 5:55 P.M.
~Canada : Papa Noel : 3:30, 4:55, 5:40, & 6:25 P.M., but I have seen him later.
~United Kingdom : Father Christmas : 3:50, 5:10, 5:55, 6:50, & 7:40 P.M.
~France : Pere Noel : 3:35, 4:35, 5:35, 6:20, & 7:20 P.M.
~Morocco : Taarji : 3:25, 5:10, 5:50, 6:40 & 7:20 P.M.
~Japan : Daruma Vendor : 3:55, 5:55, 6:40, 7:15, & 8:10 P.M.
~United States of America : Hanukkah : 4:00, 5:05, 5:55 & 6:35 P.M. and Santa Claus : 3:10, 4:10, 5:40, 6:55, & 8:25 P.M.
~Mexico : Los Tres Reyes Magos : 3:35, 5:10, 6:00, & 6:40 P.M.
~Norway : Julenissen : 4:05, 5:00, 5:40, & 6:30
~China : The Monkey King : 4:35, 5:10, 5:55, & 6:55 P.M.
~Germany : Saint Nicholas : 4:30, 5:15, 5:55, & 7:00 P.M.
~Italy : La Befana : 3:00, 4:50, 5:50, 6:40, & 7:25 P.M.
American Garden Theatre Candlelight Processional: 5:00, 6:55, & 8:15 P.M.
We could stand outside the lines or sit on the wall and watch and listen to the Christmas Story. Others may want to get tere an hour early to get in the standby line.
Illuminations : 9:30 P.M.
We need to try and decide where we want to watch the Illumination fireworks before the CP ends with all the crowds. There were a lot of lake side chairs and tables between Italy and Germany, but I don't know if this is a good viewing spot.
We could also start the Holiday Storyteller tour on one side, early, before the tree lighting ceremony and even have a late lunch before the tour. We could then take a boat launch back to the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Then after the 5:55 P.M. Tree Lighting Ceremony, take the Holiday Storyteller tour on the other side.
Then relax outside, and listen to the Candlelight Processional at the 8:15 P.M. performance, or others might want to get there an hour early and wait in standby line(no line breaking) to go inside.
Then we could watch the Illumination fireworks at 9:30 P.M..
DISers could come and go and meet at the different "timed" events depending on their interest or whether they stop to eat dinner.
What are your suggestions?
God bless you, best wishes, and encouragement, RaySharpton
