2002 - Looking back

Out of the 3 couples together celebrating on New Years Eve, we all agreed that overall 2002 was a BAD year for us and we really hope 2003 is better.

So . . . . what were your highs and lows of 2002?

For me:

Low: Easy one, DD being so sick.

High: We had a wonderful family vacation at WDW (Dolphin) this summer. Great memories!

Highs: Getting Skye and Sienna (Blaze was 2001)! Getting a house! My data structures class (actually, making an A when I went in with a serious disadvantage is the high part). Getting to go to Colorado/New Mexico to visit my grandparents on a father-daughter trip (that was really special to me). DH and my Disneyland trip.

Lows: Losing Sage. DH's car being in the shop over the holidays. The *stress* of buying a house (even though it resulted in a high )

I'd have to say for me, 2002 was a very good year.

Highs: a trip to WDW in June, adopted another kitty (Leigha), got my Masters in French, found out I am pregnant.

Low: found out mom's cancer had returned and her long chemo treatment.

Overall I'm glad 2002 is over! It was a stressfull year!

Highs: Having Nathan, Buying our first house

Lows: DH's health scare, my pre-eclampsia while pregnant with DS

Overall I would say that 2002 was a pretty good year. The highs were pretty big and thankfully the lows were relatively short lived.

High: DH & I are getting closer again

Low: what it took to get DH & I closer again, cruise cancelled

Highs: WDW in January and June, great summer camping weekends, reconnecting with my brother

Low: DH's job loss. It's been tough, but we are weathering the storm. I predict that 2003 will be a much brighter year.
