200 pts. SSR Resale

200 pts @ SSR came up for sale on the TTS website. I'm very tempted but I'm waiting to pass ROFR @ VWL.
I wish this came up two weeks ago.

Considering what the current price is through Disney, someone it seems will be able to get this for a pretty good price. Is this the first SSR resale or has anyone seen another one already?

I heard about a recent resale @ SSR when I was signing my contract several weeks back. I believe the previous SSR was sold for $78/pt. as well.
200 pts SSR contract @ $78/pt = ~$81/pt. Lot better than $95/pt Disney is charging.

I just took a peek at the TimeShare Store's website -- there are actually two SSR resales out there...

at mh it was $80 a point if you gave back the first years points. otherwise $85 a point if you kept the points, considering you have to pay closing cost for resale

Could it be CM buying at their discount and then re-selling at a slight profit but less than Disney?

If that was the case, I think they would end up losing money on the commission that they would have to pay to the reseller. Isn't it like 12%-15%?

Wow, $78 a point is a nice price. Factoring in the closing costs and the discount I received from DVC it works out to be what I paid for 175 points.
