$200 gift option

We have some friends that bought into DVC and gave them our names. We opted to apply the $200 gift towards our yearly dues. We have since received a letter saying we will be contacted by Accounting.

For those of you that have chosen this option -- how long did it take before you actually heard from Accounting and then how did they apply the $200? I'm assuming we'll wind up with lower dues for a few months but I'm not sure.

We pay our maintenance fees yearly in January. After receiving the certificate/letter asking us how we want the $200 gift - it took a few more weeks to see the $200 credit on the website. They will deduct it in January for us. Not sure how it works if you since you pay monthly. I am sure it will take a few weeks after receiving your letter saying you will be contacted by accounting.

Perhaps someone here can help, otherwise - give MS a call in 3/4 weeks.

I red somewhere 30-45 days after the certificate has been returned. I got my thank you letter for reffering someone. My refeeral bought so I am waiting for my certificate to come so I can choose my option. I am leaning towards the Dsiney Dollars to help on our trip in Oct.
