I received an offer to get a Disney Premier Visa credit card. It says I get a $200 gift card after charging $500 in the first 3 months. It sounds like a great idea. If I don't want to pay the annual fee I could cancel the card after the first several months, and keep the gift card right?
Does anyone know if the giftcard can only be used at Disney stores and resorts? The details they sent are vague. Can the gift card be used on a Disney travel pkg?

I think someone on here said they charge the annual fee pretty quick. I assume it is just for that reason. I don't know anything about the gift card. Your best bet would be to call them directly.

I phoned the # on the credit card offer. They weren't able to list the dining locations that would be available for the 10% discount that Disney Premier Visa cardholders get. Anyone know?

The gift card is issued just like a regular one you purchase so it can be used at resort. As for specific resturants, id like to know too. Or a specific list of stores etc to use the card to earn disney points on credit card.

For me the annual fee was charged about 11 months after I signed up for it. The catch is that you cannot use the rewards if you close out your card before you cash in and use them. This was never an issue for me as we use this as our primary card for everything then pay it off at the end of each cycle. The $200 gift card, if it is like it used to be, is good at any Disney park, Disney store or restaurant owned by Disney.

For the points on your card, you earn 1% on all purchases, and 2% on groceries, Disney, gas, airline purchases, restaurants. So long as the store you purchase groceries from is a grocery store (not Walmart, etc) and gas is from a regular gas station again, not a Walmart or Sam's club. I have not had any restaurants excluded from the 2%.

You cannot cancel the card without paying the annual fee. We love our premier card. We charge everything possible and pay it in full every month. The rewards earned and the gift card can be used anywhere on property that accepts Visa or gift cards, including resorts and all Disney Store locations, including their outlet stores. Now I need to call Chase Visa to make sure I can use the $200 gift card even after I cancel the credit card.

My offer said "No annual fee for the first year".

We just got it in the main a few days ago.

The gift card has nothing to do with the rewards. It is just a regular gift card. Canceling will have no effect on that. :thumbsup2

Does the Disney Premier credit card get you any park privileges besides a free character Meet & Greet photo? Early entrance, etc?

The only differences between the regular and the premier is the rate at which you earn rewards, the annual fee, and the premier now comes with visa signature benefits. Not sure if there is a requirement to be met for qualifying for the signature benefits, but they automatically sent us new cards with the logo on it a few weeks ago.

The annual fee will be billed to you 120 days before your 1 year anniversary. So you don't actually get a full one year for free. Its a gimmick

You can also find this offer when you do online check in. I did two seperate online check ins and both time the $200 credit card office was on the confirmation screen

When I go to the chase site, I only see a $50 or $100 offer. Is there anyway to get the $200 offer. Anyone know? A pin? A link? I'm hoping I can get the $200 gift card offer.

Thanks!
