20 Years, Gifts, Attire?

Opinions please...

We were just invited to a wedding in Key West and I am confused
First of all they have been living together for 10 years and have been together a total of 20 years what kind of gift would you come up with? (Why their getting married now I have no idea.....)

Second, the wedding is in a garden and reception is at a VERY casual restaurant. What would you wear and any suggestions at where to look online?

I would get them a token gift, not housewares or anything. Maybe a gift cert for a rest. or something. A museum memberhip maybe. A frame with their wedding date is always nice. Honestly, they probably have everything they need by now.

i would suggest something like a sundress for the attire. or simply khaki shorts and a light tank-top. i thin that would be just fine for the locations you've described. good luck!!

I think a sundress or cute capri set would be fine. As for the gift like pp said a gift certificate is always good, or a nice bottle of wine. Or maybe they will register somewhere? As for why they are just getting married now...who knows? Maybe they just now feel ready to get married or have decided it would be better for them financially. I would just be happy for them and not worry too much about the particulars. I would love to go to a wedding in Key West (or just go there period)

Great ideas.....The wedding is on Cinco De Mayo!!! Everyone is welcome! Come on down it will be a fun long weekend!!! We could all wear lime green in the Keys!!

okay...you could wear a cute wrap floral skirt with a halter top and a flower in your hair..... or summery gauchos with a flowy top and fancy sandles...or a sundress...
As far as a gift goes--- you could wait until you are down in Key West and buy them something cool FROM there to remind them of their wedding- Just a thought....

Well, if it's Key West, then pretty much anything goes. I'm guessing that as long as you don't wear your swim suit, then you'll be fine!

Gift ideas...I think a really nice bottle of champagne would be great, along with some funky (think Bohemian style) champagne glasses to go with it.

Thanks everyone...I finally found a dress...white background with flowers. We are going to take your advice and buy a gift certificate & put it is something we buy while in the keys!
