I ordered the DVD about a week ago. Today I got a code via e-mail. I put down April as a travel date. Looks like alot of people are getting codes. I'm hoping mine will work for mods too.

I got the code too. According to my CM, some upgrade codes were released yesterday to go along with the pin codes for this offer( the upgrades are a letter they can add to your pin #, they have to check and see if you are eligible for it.). The upgrade was for 20% off package, room, tickets, and basic dining package.

I said I was looking at September. My DVD came yesterday, but I haven't gotten any offer. I am planning on 9/20-9/27, so my date fits in the offer!

Just got the email...twice. I said I was interested in October. It then says I can stay in a value resort for $99 (10/2-11/25). Or if my dates are flexible, i can get 20% off. The dates are as follows:

I just got a 20% for moderate, with select weeks-but not 11/30-12/7, which is when I want to go. The e-mail did have an $82 rate for that week at values.
I had ordered the DVD in my name, and in my husband's, as we have different last names. The e-mail was to my husband "While you are waiting for your DVD...."
I can get 20% off with my AAA for the week I want. Tell me, what is the disadvantage to booking now with AAA? I've read here that other codes that come along can be applied to existing reservations-is this true even if the are booked via AAA and not directly with WDW?

What other codes should I wait for before deciding? 40% or one that discounts the whole package?Is there even such a code? We will be doing DPD and park hopper tickets.

What I meant was, I wonder if the specific month you selected is having any influence on who is getting them?

We specified May (because we are doing a cruise from Port Canaveral and we usually do a few days at Disney with most of our cruises) and we got 30%off...and instead decided to do six days in August.

I have a question about the code. I was already planning on staying at a value (POP) Sept. 6-14th at $82 a night, that is what is quoted on the Disney site during those dates. Is the 20% discount only pertaining to staying at a moderate or higher resort?

The code that we got evidently specific to a value resort, even though we are planning at staying at a mod. Called CRO today to get a quote and evidently the pin code won't transfer over to a mod. They said they were checking into it and to call back later. I'm sure that when I ordered the DVD that I had said that we were looking at staying at a MOD. On the surface it looks like the discount for a value isn't any better than what we could get with AAA.

I ordered the DVD and just received an e-mail with a PIN on Monday. Same story - value resort at $89 per night or 20% select resorts. When I called to apply it to my current reservation (through AAA), I was told the 20% discount was ONLY applicable to value resorts, and even then, not applicable to the family suite (which is what we have booked). My only option was to book two rooms at a value resort. Since the 20% discount only applied to the room, but the AAA discount was applied to my whole package (room/tickets/dining), it would only save me $100 and we'd end up in two rooms instead of the family suite. Not a good deal after all!
