I received an e-mail today from Disney Destinations saying "*****family your Disney dream is here".
It's for a 20% off during certain dates and it says when calling to book make sure you have your PIN.
I've searched that e-mail inside out...no PIN?:confused3
I'm I totally missing something? Has anyone else had the same issue?

The code doesn't stand out all that much - from what I can remeber from our own 20% e-mail. Additionally, some e-mail readers will block the images, which might be your problem.

Worst case scenario, since it went to your e-mail and your name, call Disney, and you should be able to tell them what you got and they can confirm that there is an offer attached to your household.

Sometimes, that number simply looks like one of those company numbers that are tacked on to the bottom of corporate e-mails. Make sure you read every inch of the message.

Good luck, and congrats!

The same thing happened to me! I just received what I thought was THE pin code e-mail just a few minutes ago but I didn't see a pin anywhere. I must've looked at the e-mail 10 times, but I will go check again and see if I can find it!

I got the same 20% email today- couldn't see the pin. So I called and the CM just applied the pin attached to my name, and it wasn't 20% off, it was 30% off! :cool1: So call and check- the discount may be better than what you think! :thumbsup2

I got the 30% off email and called Disney. In the email it said it was for a few sets of date ranges, but the CM I called stated differently. I already have a ressie for 8/10 through 8/16 and this was in the date range in the email, but the CM told me that the only date ranges left were for after the beginning of September :(

Hmmm... interesting. I re-checked my e-mail and there was definitely no pin. So I called Disney and the CM I spoke with said it should be highlighted in yellow, but that'd he'd look me up by name. He looked me up and said I was in fact eligible for a discount. I asked how much of a discount would I was eligible for and at first he said 40% and then he changed his mind and said 40% OR 30%. So, I gave him my dates of travel and the resorts I was interested in and he told me Pop, ASMU and POFQ would all be 20% off rack rate.:confused3

The whole thing was actually a bit odd. Shouldn't he have known by looking up my name which discount I was eligible for? Or did it maybe depend on my travel dates? Or which resort I was booking? Or maybe the guy was just new and unsure of what he was doing? In any case, I decided not to book anything just yet. 20% off isn't bad, but I was kinda hoping for 30% or 40%.

Yeah that is VERY strange. I called to book and I got a really helpful CM. When I told him my situation, that it went to my name but at my other mailing address he said it shouldn't be a problem because it was sent to my email, not mailing address.

Well I called Disney today and was talking to a wonderful CM (for the life of me I can't remember her name), and explained how I received the e-mail but no PIN. She was absolutely dumbfounded...she had never heard of that happening before.
So she hunted and searched and came up with a PIN for me. She didn't say what the discount was or if it would be of any use for my reservations (I made my reservations through a TA).
She told me to give the PIN to my TA and they will take care of it...and now the wait begins.:hourglass

I got an e-mail for 20% off and I couldn't find the PIN anywhere either :confused3 But now I think I'll call and see what they say..if it's actually 20% or not ...weird!

I had the exact same thing happen to me... an e-mail but no PIN.

I called and talked with a CM who wouldn't/couldn't believe it. She said 'No problem, it will be attached to your name.' Well, that wasn't true, either, so she put me on hold and went and talked to a supervisor...

(Queue the Jeopardy music...)

After 5 minutes, she came back with a code, which she said was now attached to my name. She said it would be worth 20 - 40% based on who it was sent to and the resort they were staying at. She looked up the resorts we were interested in, and they were at 20% off rack rate (which is what the original e-mail stated).

To Jennchris - just call them, have a little patience, and you'll find out what discount is available to you.
