$20.02 rate still available at DTD Marriot!

I called today and was able to get this rate for August 8th, so we get to leave a day earlier! It was strange that the woman I tlked to on the phone told me that they have rooms available for this rate and to tell anyone I know. Very different from talking with CRO.

Thanks for that information! I will call 1st think in the morning, and see if anything opened up on the 13th of August... that is right in the middle of our time there, and the only day I couldn't get the rate. If it is, and they also have it for the 15th, I may be tempted to just extend our time another day!

I also asked for the 16th and they were booked, so availability may be spotty. I did get the impression that they had quite a few rooms left at this rate since she told me to spread the word. As with CRO keep calling because something may open up.

For those of you that will be there over the 13th of August there is a DIS meet at E night, 9pm at Pirates of the Caribean. I am pretty sure that DTD hotels can buy E hight tickets.

It is called a Property Promotion. Last year, it was for the same time, only it was $20.01 per night, Sunday through Thursday. Evidently the DTD resorts are slower during the hot summer months, and they do that to entice guests to stay there. I know it worked on me!
