20,000 leagues under the sea?

gizfish is right. For a while it was called Ariel's Grotto and it had a statue of Ariel. Not sure if there was anything else to it (attraction wise)

Actually, the area had been divided into two meet and greets -- Ariel's Grotto, which is to the left side and back behind Dumbo, and the old que line for 20,000 Leagues, which was a character meet and greet that would open at certain times during the day and have a host of different characters there (right across from Pooh's ride).

Ariel's Grotto is still tucked back in the corner (Ariel herself was moved to Mickey's tent at ToonTown while construction took place on the renovation of the area, but I believe she has since returned to her Grotto), but the que line portion has been removed, along with all of the submarine track, and has been replaced by landscaping and the soon to be unveiled 100 Acre Wood playground.

Rumor still has it that Disney may still build another big "E-Ticket" type attraction on this spot.

Hope that helps.
