I just received my Disney info kit from AAA, however my 2 year old is not listed anywhere. Is this normal?

Why did I have to give name for him when making the reservation?

Also if you have a second...With Disney Dinning, If I do want to purchase a meal for my 2 year old, do I ask for a separate check for his meal?

Thanks for the Help coming up on 2 weeks to go.

Yes, it is very aggravating, but normal for the 2-yr-old to not be listed on the ressie. He/she is in the computer system, etc. but will not be listed elsewhere for reasons to drive parents insane. I only had one sit-down meal with our 2-yr-old last trip and he ate FREE at a character meal! I have no idea how the dining plan works though. Good luck!

We had Cindy rez and our 2 year old wasn't listed but there was a highchair for her when we arrived. THey have it, on airline tickets her name should be on your ticket under notes.

2 year olds are free at sit down meals, it's only counter service were you would pay.

This isn't true. The only place we didn't pay for our 2 and unders is at buffet restaurants/character meals.

At sitdowns-if I wanted a plate for my kids--I paid for there meal. Hence why we shared b/c there was no way I was paying $5 or more for my kid to eat 1 nugget. If you are not charged--it was at the server's discretion.

How this correlates into the dining plan--I am not sure. just for those that have 3yo's and older--that sometimes they will save there dining plan credit for something else and just pay out of pocket for their meal.

Any time you order something you pay for it. Like was stated above it is only at buffets and family style meals do you not pay for a child under 2.

Yes in the sense you may bring in outside food and/or share your food with the 2yo and not order anything for him.

Also, if you buy a separate ice cream bar from one of the outdoor stands for your 2yo, you would pay.

As far as the room reservation, I just made one for my family and they didn't ask on the online form for a name for our toddler, just for our older kids. We are listed as a party of 2 adults, 2 children and 1 infant on the reservation.

As far as dining...what everyone else said! Now that I have a big kid who will eat what my toddler won't I do get her a meal, but in the past we've never purchased meals for our under 2yo's.

Actually we're in a totally different boat now since they changed the adult dining age to 10....my oldest now has to eat as an adult.

When we ate at Cindy's w/ our 18 month old-they brought out a plate of buttered noodles for her at no charge. At Crystal Palace- she could eat whatever she wanted at the buffet-no charge. Other TS-we just fed her from our plate b/c she really doesn't eat a lot. GIve her french fries and a tomato and she is happy. Our DD was listed on the AAA ressie and on our DVC ressie.
