2 Weeks til our trip...... what should I be doing?

Only 2 weeks left and I know I ought to be doing something- just not sure WHAT! We have NEVER had a vacation like this and I'm kinda at a loss. At the 2 week mark, what have you done to get ready?

I don't do anything til at least the week before..
But then DW takes care of 90% of it..
My only suggestion is clean the house and keep all the laundry done, so it leaves you less to do when you get back...

Have you got all PS's made? If not, do that. I also would check Steve Soare's site and track the show times at the park, so you can have an idea about when to see the shows you want. For instance, last week and this week Beauty and the Beast at MGM didn't have a show until 2:15. We had only planned on being in the park in the morning, and then coming back for Fantasmic. We had to change our plans so we could see this show (and see Four for a Dollar, the preshow). I start buying snacks about two weeks out. Granola bars, jerky, gum, cheese and crackers. Great things to eat while walking across the park or riding the monorail and busses. I also start checking the weather, but that just makes me crazy. The ten day forecast is never right. Weather can change so quickly in Florida, I would restrain from doing this if at all possible.

uhhh.....start rubbing it in our noses that you're going in two weeks & we're not? (Just kidding!)

Have a great time & like some other posters mentioned, start buying up your snacks to bring with you & make sure you have an extra battery for your camara (my battery always goes dead when I have to pay $10 for one instead of $1.50! )

Do you have kids coming along too? If so, hit the dollar store for some cheapie toys to keep them occupied for the trip there (whether it be by car or plane), also pick up some of those Glow stick type necklaces. Those are fun to wear in the parks after dark (even for adults!!) We found some great ones at the dollar store!
