2 weeks out/ SWW

So we're just 13 days out from our trip. We knew we were going during SWW and while we do like Star Wars and the culture surrounding it, we're not die hards and our plans don't involve anything SWW specific.

Now I'm starting to second guess this. Obviously being 2 weeks out eliminates a lot, and I'm ok with that but I'm wondering if there's something small that we should see or do since we'll already be there anyhow. I haven't even looked at any SWW schedules because we never really planned to do any of it.

We'll be there the June 7-June 15.

So...ideas? Is there something we should at least try to see or do?

Definitely stay for the fireworks at the park's closing - I've heard they're phenomenal, and it's unusual to have fireworks at DHS….I would also watch the parade, as it, too, should be fun.

It's up to you to decide if you want to stand in line for character autographs; even if you're not a diehard SW fan, you probably know the main characters (Darth Vader, Chewbacca, etc), who will be posing for photos.

Those are just a few suggestions, but others might have more. Have fun!

Take a few small trinkets/toys and you can trade with Jawas who roam around the Streets of America. Walk around Darth's Mall next to TSMM to check out the SWW logo merchandise and to meet Jedi Mickey, Leia Minnie, etc...

ETA: On second thought, that first weekend in June is when Mark Hamill will be in Studios for the first time ever. The park will be slammed so if you really don't have a major interest in SWW, avoidance may be best.

The crowds Mark Hamill will draw are exactly the kind of thing I'll be happy to skip but great idea about the fireworks! Maybe we'll hop over one night just to see them.

You should plan on the last SWW to hop - June 13, 14, 15.
