I'm so disappointed that they have to seat us at 2 tables (9 adults & 1 toddler), so looking forward to having a fun wild dinner. Tell me - anyone else ever have their party broken up, do they seat you next to each other? Tell me your experience, was it ok or should I just cancel?

Don't cancel. Relax. Disney does dining reservations based on tables, not party size. For your party of ten (the toddler will have to be included in the seating), you probably have one table of four and one table of six. If you made the reservation under the same name for the same time, your chances of getting the tables side by side (or even pushed together or however you would like them) is about 99.999999999999999999999999999%. Disney has to tell you that it's not guaranteed just in case something happens.

I had a seating for ten at Cape May Buffet. We were also at one table for six and one table for four. Our seating was delayed because the table for six was open but the party at the table for four decided to stay and have another drink and tell stories. During the delay, we were kept posted all the way. Once they left (only took about fifteen minutes), then we were all seated immediately. They didn't give away our table of six because we were already checked in.

Another time I had a seating for twelve at LeCellier during a prime dinner hour (I called very early for that one). We had three tables for four right next to each other that they offered to push together for us.

Don't worry.

We traveled to disney with 10 once and at Crystal Palace we sat at 2 tables that were right next to each other, it was fine, we were able to still chat and talk, it was my birthday and so they were apologetic that they had to seat us at two tables, but we told them not to worry, there is no problem or biggie, i mean what can you do with those situations? We still had the time of our lives
