When I made an ADR for 8 people at Coral Reef, I was told that it would be 2 tables for 4. Will the tables be next to each other/in close proximity? It will be 4 adults and 4 children (one child that is only 2 years old).

What happens if all 8 of the party don't show up, and it ends up being 5 of us? (The other party we are meeting there consists of 2 adults and one child (2 years old) and there is a possibility that they won't make it to the restaurant in time that day.)

Are all of the tables setup for parties of 4????

They have tables designed for five (banquettes) and six. If your reservation is for 8 people it should be near either opening or closing so you would be able to be seated at adjoining or even connecting tables.

1) Separate tables happen frequently at WDW.
2) They will TRY to get you close to each other.
3) Close proximity is requested but not guaranteed.
4) Be prepared for the worst, and relish the best.
