So I just booked my ADR's and we have a few nights where there are 8 of us. 6 adults and 3 year old and a 1 year old.

They had to do 2 tables for us at Olivia's and Yatchsman. Anyone have any experience with this. U think they will put us together when we get there? I know Yatchsman have those large round tables cause I have eaten there a bunch of times. I never ate at Olivia's. this is a new one for us.

We were told that we "could" be split with every ADR when we had a group of 10 & we were only split once at CP right next to each other worked out great.

I few times when I have made adrs with large parties they stated we may be at desperate tables but we have never had to split when we actually arrived.

Hey everyone! Thanks. I was feeling pretty bummed out about this this AM cause we were finally getting to spend some time with great friends of ours at Disney. Hopefully this all works out! Thanks for the info!

Now if the Cal Grill gets open so we can book there! That night was suppose to be a birthday celebration for my daughter with having Brian make a cake for us and so far that is up in the air too!

It just seems like ADR's get harder and harder each year for reason's that are out of reach for Disney to control, like a growing family, or waiting on hold for the past 45 mins to make a change!

thanks again!

I had a number of reservations in Decemeber for between 5 to 10 people, depending on the meal, and I always got the "party may be seperated" warning, but we were never seperated.

Not saying it can't happen, but more often than not you will be seated together.

Thanks a lot makes me feel better. I realized today we creating there in June too so I will mention something then also. Forgot we were going in June! Lol

The warning about being seated at more than one table shows up on many reservations - even for a party of 1 sometimes. It's a way for Disney to protect itself in the event that it happens at a restaurant. However, as much as possible they will try to seat you at one table or adjacent tables.

If you absolutely must be seated at one table be prepared to wait longer than usual because many restaurants don't have too many large tables or they have to wait until 2 adjacent tables are available at the same time. With 2 little ones you might want to consider reservations at the restaurant's opening time when you'll have a much better chance of being seated at one table with less waiting.

Thanks Kim that's what we always have been doing since Kate started coming with us. We do like 5- 530 ADR's and then head back to the parks. It's worked out real well for our last 3 trips. A bit of park in the AM and then we chill out at the hotel, wash up and head to dinner and then pack to the parks. We are past the point of going full day park running. when we had no kids that was cool but now it's a bit too much and we go enough that it doesn't matter much.
