2 Spectros on August 20th

I am so excited. They extended the MK hours on Aug. 20 to 10:30 and put on 2 spectros 8:30 and 10:30. Yippie!!!!

This is the second time they've extended the park hours for the 20th. I'd been planned to spend the night there because I really enjoy the Magic Kingdom at night, but now I'm really starting to worry that it'll be very, very crowded there that day. I was hoping that since Florida schools have opened, crowds wouldn't be as much of a problem.

Do you arrive on the 19th? That's when we arrive to. From NY too. But we are driving down. I'm excited because the 10:30 Spectro should be much less crowded than the 8:30, plus you can ride a ride at 8:30 while eveyone else is watching the parade!

I don't care about the crowds at night, I mainly go at night for the entertainment and any rides that have short lines are a bonus.

You'll have a great time, don't worry.

Yes, we arrive just before midnight on the 19th. We're flying, though. My parents can't handle the drive.

I'm used to traveling alone and I'm good at rolling with the punches and just enjoying my vacation. But, with three people tagging along on this trip, I've been more diligent about trying to minimize "cranky time" -- time spent fighting crowds, standing in the sun, or waiting in line.
