2 singles or a double stroller? (ages 4 and 2)

We bought the cheapest (no name brand) umbrella strollers when our kids were 2 & 3. They were simple to fold and easy to carry. We found that they weren't uncomfortable for the kids because we were basically putting the kids in, strolling to a ride, and then getting them out again. We used these strollers at the parks only(we had the big comfy double stroller for home use) for the next 4 years. I really liked having the two strollers. When getting on buses, my husband would handle the strollers and I would handle getting the kids on and off. When we were in parks, he was responsible for one stroller and I was responsible for the other. They were easy to manuever in crowds and provided great seating for the parades. I also found that with the two strollers, the kids didn't bother each other like they tended to do in our double stroller.
