My friend and I are planning to go and use the dining package and eat at the same table. We would probably just use one of our names for all of the reservations. But we will be in separate rooms, her and two children, and me and my teenage son. Will the restaurants split the bill between our two parties?

Yes, no problem at all.

We are doing something similar. Me, DW, DS21 and DD20 and have 2 separate rooms at POP and thru AAA we have 2 separate itineries or bills, 1 for each room. All ADR's were made for 4 people, would we need take 2 cards and put 2 meals on each or 1 card and take off 4. Do they pool the total of TS,CS and SC for both rooms or each room separate?

We are doing this as well because DM is going with us and will have her own room. I was told by the Disney CM that booked us that the credits will be pooled by room, so DM will have to use her own card. However, our reservations are together for the restaurants.

It's fine that the ADR is under one person's name.
You need to have one card/key for each party or room with charging prevliges. Each room will be pooled together.

Should not be a problem. We had three parties dine together last year - one adult, two adults, and one adult/two children. The waiter took all three cards and charged each one correctly.
