I'm thinking of doing the stroller rental, anyone have any experience with this and some details about it?

Also, I've been mulling over which character breakfast to do and my DD is a HUGE Mickey fan, I think more than the other characters and I saw Chef Mickey's breakfast at Contemporary. How is this one?

Can't wait till WDW!!! :cool1:

We like CM for breakfast. The food is regular buffet fare. All of the fab 5 were there each of the 3 times we dined over Christmas. The characters do interact well...sone more than others.

If you are looking for other options with Mickey:
O'Hana-This is ts and the food was good (but limited...how many choices do you need for breakfast though?)
Tusker House-Good food, buffet style and smells really yummy when you walk in. Personally I thought it was kind of cramped in the resturant though (maybe just our table placement). You ahve to have admission to AK for this resturant.

Are you talking about renting at Disney or renting from somewhere else?

The Disney rentals are fairly expensive, especially if you need a double. We bought two Volos for less than the price it would have cost us to rent during our trip.

you will be able to pick up the stroller at your hotel upon arrival and have it for the walks to the bus and hotel room. despite OP warnings, we found the stroller on the bus "baggage" to be worth having it (we used our sit n stand) and not as much trouble as we expected.

We've been to DW twice with a baby both times.
The first time our stroller was taken, and disney provided us with a free double stroller rental for rest of our stay. The stroller was wonderfully convient at the parks, but we had an 11 mo old who we had to carry around the resort and to and from the buses.
Our second trip, we had lots of strollers that we brought with us, and by the end of our trip, we were renting disney strollers so we could stop the inconvience of folding and unfolding lots of strollers (4 or 5 each day) on the buses. But, there was also 12 of us, 6 of which were children, ages 9, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. The children were able to easily walk around the resort and to and from the buses, all except for the 1 yr old, of course.
The next time we are planning on renting strollers for the whole stay.
So, if you have small children who wouldn't want to walk outside the parks, I'd bring one. But, if you mainly need one around the parks, I would definitely rent one.

First of all, how old is the child who will be in the stroller? Disney rental strollers really aren't that great for kids under like 18 months. Sure, you can strap them in, but, if you've got a wiggly young one, I'd think twice.

If the child is young and will be napping while you're in the parks, I suggest taking your own stroller from home so they are comfortable. If it's simply a stroller to use when they're tired of walking (if it's an older child) then rent one.
