Looking for a grocery store close to Kidani nothing too fancy, I usually order from Gardengrocer but I'm not sure how much or what I want this time.

Also, the second bathroom will be great but has anyone tried to put up some kind of covering over the glass shower doors or the garden tub in the main bathroom? It would be great to get a little more use out of that bathroom as well.

This will be our first trip to Kidani and I'm not sure how we are going to like not having a food court, my DS has special needs so going back and fourth to Jambo will be an issue. I looked at the pool menu and unless that has been updated not too much on there that DS will eat.

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated, I'm really excited about staying at Kidani but I am hoping I won't miss Jambo too much.:)

There are 2 grocery stores close to the Animal Kingdom Villas. If you are driving, leave the resort and make a right at the light at Sherberth Road. Take another right at the light at 192. About 2 - 3 miles down you will find a Super Target on the left and a Publix on the right.

We love that Publix! So easy to get to from Kidani!!!

Huh? :confused3 Sorry I can't figure out what you mean, I keep trying various scenarios but they don't really fit what you said above.

I saw that part too, but was confused and figured it was a little TMI for me to ask.

Maybe lots of steam in the shower?;)

In the bedroom bathroom with the shower and tub, you have to walk through the shower/tub area to get to the toilet 'closet'. She is asking if anyone has come up with a way to cover the tub/shower so someone could be taking a shower and someone else could walk through there to use the toilet . . . I dont have an answer btw :)

How often will you want to use counter service? The best way is to take any bus except Downtown Disney busses to Jambo to eat at the Mara. Its quick that direction because there's bound to be some bus there. Going back to Kidani, you have to take only a Downtown Disney bus. The walk was 8 minutes for my family so we just walked, unless a bus was literally waiting for us. I assume thats not a good option for you though.

It may be best to plan meals in parks or in rooms if the bus service thing will annoy you.

Thanks so much for the info, have been down that way several times for the Walgreens but didn't realize the Target and Publix was that way as well, perfect!

I had no idea the shower thing would be too much info ha I ended up buying a shower curtain from IKEA that is lightweight and I am going to use suction cups with the hooks to hang it around the outside for privacy. I can just cut the one side that would hang by the tub, then who ever is in there can stay as long as they like and we can use the rest of the bathroom. Is that bad?

Since we will have a car I am thinking I can drop one of the kids off on the way to Kidani to get what we need from the Mara and they can walk it back. DS is in a wheelchair so parks will be enough pushing for us. I am going to try and use that kitchen as much as possible...wish me luck!

Thanks Again!!!
