2 Rooms with FL Resident Rate?

We are traveling with my parents in August (they live in GA). When I booked our room with a FL Res rate, I asked about booking their room too and was told there had to be a resident on each reservation.

So if I put myself on their reservation and DH and my girls in another, would that work? Is there a fee for 3 adults in one room? And technically, my card would be a key for my parents room and any charges would go to them, is that right?

We don't plan on making a lot of room charges, so it shouldn't be an issue, but I'm just trying to figure out the downside of doing this and I want to make sure I "follow the rules".

Thanks!

as long as you are traveling the same dates and same resorts then you can book up to 3 rooms with your FL res discount.. so you can book your GA resident parents with your FL res discount. I would just call back cause you cannot do it online with the discount without a FL address.. :)

Wow, really?! Thanks for the info. When I booked my room, I asked about booking a 2nd room for them and was told I'd have to have a FL Res on each reservation. :confused3

It would make things a lot easier if we could do what you said. I'll call tomorrow...

Thanks!
