We will be in WDW for 5 nights in August. I have the Dolphin booked already, but if a good AP rate comes out for POFQ we would be able to get 2 rooms for roughly the same money.

Problem is, I can't decide what to do. We are 2 adults and 2 teens - boy of 13 and girl of 17 - so one room get's pretty crowded. We will need a rollaway at the Dolphin which will take up some floor space.

We have stayed at both resorts before so know all about them, and love each one equally for different reasons. LOL I'm not making this easy am I? :rotfl:

What would you do?

I would stay at the Dolphin, but I don't think you could make a bad decision here - both are good options. :)

I would go with POFQ, simply because four people of that age would make for some pretty cramped quarters.

We did split stay POR & Dolphin, and the Dolphin room was so small, and no disney feel what so ever. I was so mad because i wanted to stay at POR. Love their layout and food court. Dowtown disney boat ride. :hippie:

We absolutely love the Epcot resort area and would definitely choose that anyday over a mod if the price was right. I am a big believer in LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

This is how I feel too. I think in some ways the S/D are better than Disney (I don't need Mickey theming, and I don't even have to stay on property to feel "magic"). But I do very much like the Swan and Dolphin, they have the best beds on property, IMHO!

I don't find the rooms small, I have been to Europe a few times in the past 2 years and could tell you about small rooms! :) (though we've had some nice sized ones there too). Often the bathrooms in Europe are touch-the-wall-to your-knees when you sit down types. :)

Thanks everyone, still not sure what to do.

Anyone else got a view?

I would get the TWO rooms! There's nothing like space, and having less people to share a bathroom with! Get the two rooms!:teacher:

Dolphin! You are obviously not taking advantage of the DDP or ME, so if that is not a consideration I would go with Dolphin all the way... the location to Epcot is wonderful, it is a AWESOME resort--- and to me it feels as Magically as POFQ(which is so similar to POR)!

Are you a teacher, state/government employee, nurse etc? You can get a great rate (like $169) a night at Dolphin if you are! That makes a huge difference!

We struggle with this decision each year, but it is hard because of the intorduction of ME and DDP -- if that we no longer an issue than I would never stay anywhere but Dolphin/Swan!
