Hi everyone,

I am booked for 9/22-9/29 at POR for a family of 5 with Free Dining. However, with all of these new codes coming out, I wanted to see what the difference would be if I booked 2 rooms at an AS or POP and possibly added the dining seperately. My wife is looking for a little more space than what POR gives us. Any opinions/ thoughts?

Also, can you downgrade resorts and keep the dining plan? Another option that I am looking at is my parents are going down at the same time that we are. My 11yr old DD could stay with my parents at an AS or POP and then we could also go back to a AS? I know that everyone needs to be on the same plan, so my parents would have to be on the DDP in order for my DD to go with them.

This vacation is going to kill me.. thanks in advance.

What are the ages of the children in your party? When I called CRO yesterday they told me the trundle bed that is used in rooms for 5 people is small and not a good bed for anyone over the age of 9. We are a party of 5, 3 adults, a 5 year old and a 13 year old. We wanted to chance from POR one room to 2 rooms at POP or All Stars ,but no room are available for our dates :( I think we will be ok, but no privacy and we will bring an air mattress since it will be my 13 year old nephew trying to sleep on the trundle bed, that CRO basically said is the size of a toddler bed. I'm going to try calling back right now and see if any rooms have come open :surfweb:

Kids are 4,5 and 11. I like the idea of the air mattress...think I will use that one! My wife's big concern is the privacy. Thats alot of people for 1 small room. My big concern is the $. We got the free dining so our total package is $2400. I just wasnt able to calculate it using the two rooms..

You may want to see if there are any rooms open during your stay at one of the values before you decide. I called yesterday afternoon and could have switched to Pop or All Star Sports, decided to talk it over with my husband since it cost about $400 more to have two rooms the values then one at POR. Decided to go for and it and switch and there are no rooms at any values open at all for my dates. I called back twice yesterday and twice this morning and still no luck.
We are happy and excited to stay at POR I just got a little concerned when I heard the trundle bed was so small, but I think the air mattress with help with that.
