2 ressies?

We got our waitlist request We wanted to start our vacation 1 day sooner but there were no rooms so we got our first ressie for the other days that were available and waitlisted for the first day.

I just checked on the dvc member website and it looks like we have now have 2 reservations (both are at SSR in 1BR). Does this mean we will have to change rooms? or do they link these 2 ressies? Do we need to request this or is just assumed on there end?

You should call MS and request that the two reservations be linked.

The same thing happened to me when we booked our January trip -- we had to waitlist for the first night of our stay. When it came through, it had a different reservation number. I called MS and they told me that that is how it works when you waitlist for part of your stay and that the reservations are automatically linked. We had no problem when we checked in for our stay. In fact, until I read your post today I had completely forgotten that we had two reservation numbers for that trip. It was not even mentioned when we checked in.

Go ahead and call MS to verify the reservations are linked, just to set your mind at ease!
