OK, yet ANOTHER question,

We are going to WDW this May, and we are splitting our stay between 2 resorts. The first day (the day we arrive) we are going to be staying at CSR @ an AP rate. We are not going to be doind ANY parks that day. The next morning we are going to be transferring over to ASMu also at a AP rate. question is we will not be able to activate the AP until the second day the day we are also going to be in ASMu. So CSR will never actually see the AP! what do I have to do, and is this valid??

You should be able to use your voucher when you check in at the CSR. If you have the voucher it is just like the AP just not activated.

that is what I thought, but I saw some answers saying just come back after you get it activated to show the resort. BUT we will not be there anymore, know what I mean?

Don't worry - it is not the norm for them to ask to see the pass anyway and if they do, I am sure u will be able to explain.

I am wondering about the vouchers though - I thought this had stopped and u just got the passes and they were activated as soon as u bought them. Has this changed again?

though TDS, about a month or so ago... I had heard that rumor to but I asked before i purchased them so I could always blame the worker if i didnt want it ;)

We have always been asked to show the pass when we have booked an AP rate, and to show our ID when we book a Florida resident rate. I am sure, though, that the voucher will work for you. That proves that they have your money already!:D

cinderella.....NO....the AP voucher is not activated until you have it activated at one of the parks.
This is what our voucher says......
It looks like a credit card and says "exchange pass", then on the back it states what type it is....ours is Annual Pass DC adult.
The letter states that it is valid for one year from ISSUANCE. It says the "exchange pass" must be redeemed for the actual AP at one of the parks....this would be the date of issuance.

So you can purchase the vouchers months in advance like we did and not activate it til you get down there.

UNLESS....... you purchase your AP at the Disney Store at the airport or the visiter's center in Orlando. From what I have heard these 2 places sell the actually passes. But not sure.
