2 Reservations, Switch Rooms?

I see a lot of people have several reservations also so that we could get the best rate possible. I have a continuing reservation at GF 1 is for Dec 4 and 2nd is for Dec 5-13. Now I know on paper I have to go to desk and check in/out but has anyone been made to switch rooms before or is it possible to stay in the same room.

I wouldn't worry too much. They usually will try and keep you from having to move

Thanks I would not really mind moving rooms if I had to because it would be after the first night and I just would not unpack, but we have planned for that day to be a rest and resort day so that we could rest up for the MVMCP, so if they made us give up our room we would have to wait in the lobby from 11 am until 3 pm till we could get our new room. Hopefully, that would not happen, but with Dinsey you never know I have learned to expect the worse and if it does not happen then Awesome.

I would go down to the front desk first thing in the morning and ask - they may be able to check you in and out right then and there and then you won't have to worry about it the rest of the day. Have a good trip!

I have the same deliema. I am staying at the CR resort and my first night I have a tower club room and the rest of the nights I am in a regular tower room. I didnt want to have to change rooms but unfortunately I will have to b/c they are 2 different room categories.

I hate the switching rooms thing, but I saved a lot of money. I have a garden view room the whole time so I am hoping that they let me stay in the same room. But just in case I am not going to get to comfortable just in case.

I've never done it myself but I've heard that they will move your luggage for you if you have it all packed up. There's no reason you would have to wait around in the lobby all day.

We also have 2 reservations - noted in the system as 'continuous' - because we have a one-night room-only reservation and then the 5+2 package.

I plan to get to the front desk early (like 6:30am!) because we have an 8:05am CRT PS and I want to get checked out and back in so I know it's done - and so I can get my park passes!!!

One year we did this same thing - room only + package - and we didn't have to change rooms. Here's hoping this year is the same!
