Hi -

I thought I was being so crafty when I booked my reservation. I decided to switch resorts on 1/1 since that is the day that the discounts went into effect last year. Well, the discount starts on 1/2 so I just had to "split" my reservation at POR, so now I have a one night stay (1/1) at one rate, and a 2 night stay (1/2 and 1/3) at the AP rate (saved me $140).

Has anyone had to move rooms in a situation like this? If so, did they tell you (that you were going to have to move) when you checked in or when you went back to check out and check back in. Have I completely confused you yet???

THANKS!

Have them mark your reservation as continuing when you check in. That way you probably won't have to move. Also have central reservations note that in your reservation.

That would lessen your chances of having to move.

Yes I did that, at the recommendation of the CM, and hopefully I won't have to move. I was just curious if anyone had to move in this situation. I would assume that it would be rare, but I at least hope they let me know ahead (when I check in the first time). I'd hate to unpack and then have to re-pack!!
