2 quick dining plan ?'s

I remember reading on here that:

1. Kids can order off the regular menu at CS places and
2. At Ohana's you can order a non alcohol drink (pina coloda) and still have pop or tea with your meal.

We leave in a few days, so I wanted to look those threads up just to double check that I read them correctly but now I can't find them. Can someone please verify this info? Thanks!!!

I usually ordered all of our meals and my husband sat down with the kids. We had no problem using kids meals as adult meals. We even paid for a couple of kids meals out of pocket and saved the TS for later. Most kids meals were very cheap. As for Ohanas, I am unsure, we had to cancel or res because my DS was having breathing problems and we spent the day in Urgent care facilities...

I don't think that's right about the beverage at 'Ohana. I think if they let you get a non-alcoholic drink, that counts as that person's beverage on the dining plan. You can always do a Rachael Ray and get a side order of water with lemon
