Hi folks.
We are just over 5 weeks out from our trip, getting crazy close.
2 questions:
Are shorts and sandals acceptable at dinner?
And what do you use to carry on your h20 and beer when boarding?

I will rephrase...shorts and sandals are permitted. You won't be turned away.

We carried on almost 70 pounds of liquids in a hard sided roll aboard.

In the main dining rooms, you will be able to wear shorts and sandals if you want. In the adult dining rooms Palo and Remy, shorts and sandals aren't acceptable.

For carrying beer, since it's now six cans per person, I split a twelve pack into two handheld, soft-side coolers that fit into our carry-on bags. I put one cooler into each carry-on to enter the terminal. Once inside I put the two coolers together into the larger of the carry-on bags, so my wife didn't need to lug it. I'd imagine if we were both going through security together and I had the one twelve pack in one bag, it'd be okay, but splitting the load into two made sense to me.

We used a collapsible luggage cart with bungi cords for our Diet Dr. Pepper. Drinks can't go with checked luggage -- they have to be carried onboard, and fit through the scanner, which is the same as the airport scanners. We had to unload the cartons of soda, then reload them onto the cart. no biggie.
