Turning a 1 day business trip into a 1 day business / 2 day pleasure trip - and bringing my 70 year old Mom with me for her first ever trip

My 2 questions:

If I book a Room only reservation (going to the Christmas party that evening and my CM cousin is getting us in for free the next day) am I able to qualify for free dining?

and/or

If my CM family member books my room using their discount, am I able to qualify for Free Dining?

No and no, sorry.

The Free Dining Plan is only available to those booking the promotion through the Walt Disney Travel company. It requires a minimum 3 night stay with 2 day base tickets. No other discounts may be applied to the room at all.
