I really want to see both of these this year, but always seem to not get a decent spot and end up looking over thousands of heads LOL. Can you tell me when I can get a spot in front of the castle ( what time do they start roping off the street ? ) and or how soon to grab a bench by the castle?

Fantasmic...... same question, what time do they start to rope the erea off for fantasmic,? And what time do I need to be there to grab seats for this, and can I park my scooter right up there or will I have to sit on the hard ground?? ( that will not do as my back will give out :(

there was a post not to long ago like a week ago saying a way how some one could do both an stuff. I will keep my eyes open for it.

Fantasmic.i would start holding a seat at least an hour in a half.

an I haven't got good views on fireworks. you can try to get to the Walt statue

Hold a seat where ? I am on a scooter, and I saw this place here by the garbage can, can I put my scooter there lo ng before the crowds come and sit and prepare for the show? ( next to the garbage can)

ECV (scooters) have a special seating area for Fantasmic. Just ask a cast member to guide you there.

yeah um no. I hear there not good seats to see the show and I would like to be like everyone else and see it from the front :) thank you

ECVs may park along the back of the main seating area and the disable seating area is way to the far right and far left which leaves for an inferior view. If that area is designated as a viewing area and IF you do not block the aisle then you can park there. Another option is to park in the cobblestone area at the back but not too far back then you can see over people and get a good view.

I am not sure if that area is a designated viewing spot. The rules are very clear. You may not block an aisle and you must be in a viewing area. Applies to people and to strollers and people. I did the disabled viewing when I took Calvin and did not lke sitting so far to the right that I am watching the side of Mickey.

Thank you , I did hear I could park my scooter where the lady is leaning on the wall, sort of up a bit and away as the rope goes there? or how about here?? ( where the red is in the picture?

I apologize if you did not like my answer. But, there is more than one area for ECV's then the far right or far left. The above poster was correct in where you can go. If you ask the castmember where you can park your ECV, just tell them you do not prefer the disabled section due to the viewing and they usually find somewhere close to the center for you. At least that is always what they have done for my mother.

I will make sure to ask a CM, thank you for your help :)

As I stated the area nearest the river is cobblestone. The back of that area has a roped off walkway. You can park at the back of the roped off area but still inside the viewing area. That would be where the lady is standing. Be warned that the cobblestone area does not have any access to the upper level except by Pirates and by the wharf where Columbia is docked.

You should in theory be able to park along the fence on the next level up. I cannot say for sure about that area as policies change. I also ma in a fog as to the various levels along the waterfront even though I was there last week.
