I've read references in quite a few threads about ordering a cake for your anniversary by calling at least 48 hours in advance. We would like to order a cake for our 25th wedding anniversary to be served at our family lunch (7 people) at Cinderella's Royal Table. Who would I call about this? Does anyone have contact information or other details?

Also, what is the most romantic dining experience you have had for two people at Disney? We're having a family lunch, but then separating from the motley crew and going to another on-property resort for that night. We were considering Artist's Point... but is there someplace more intimate and romantic? Any special experiences that are off the beaten path for 2nd honeymooners? Any advice or info would be very appreciated!!!

Thanks in advance!
Ev

A lot of the restaurants that I would consider to be great for food are sometimes a little noisy.

Now I love California Grill but I personally wouldn't call it romantic unless you can get a table in the Sonoma Room, it's way quieter in there.

Artist Point is a great choice - the ceiling is VERY high so again the noise can bounce around.

Yachtsman can be a lot quieter and romantic but I personally don't find the menu that interesting - it's steak LOL - but good steak.

Flying Fish - great food but also quite noisy

Citrico's - now this can be a lot quieter and if you tell them you are celebrating something special they'll try and make sure you have a window seat overlooking the marina and sometimes you can see the fireworks if you have the right table. They'll even personalize your menu's for you.

Narcoosees - also very noisy and not so intimate.

For guaranteed romance - I'd say Victoria and Alberts - it's such wonderful food and the service is exquisite but of course it comes with a price tag, but it's a wonderful place.

Of course all the above is just my opinion, but I hope it helps.

I have to agree with everything Sam has said and I 100% agree that if you can swing the bill than V&A is the way to go. Dan and I did this our first trip together and it was AMAZING. We plan on going there as our first dinner as man and wife (day after wedding).

I have to say if you like interesting food (they also have some food that even pickier eaters would love) Than Jiko is the way to go. I think it more adult friendly and there is just something to me about AKL that is soo romantic ( I am partial however because that is where we were staying on our trip in August when we got engaged)

But I think there are many good choices...maybe Blue Zoo. I have never tried but I have heard good things!Good Luck.

You might consider chartering the Grand One luxury yacht for a fireworks cruise. This originates from the Grand Floridian. Your food would come from the Private Dining department of the Grand

How much would the cruise cost? I looked for info earlier and couldnt find it.

Dolphinrescuegirl, they have info on all the cruises available on allearsnet... I can't remember all the specifics, but you can do a search for "fireworks cruise" and it comes up over there. ~Ev :)

My fiance and I went to Narcoosee's last year and enjoyed that. I know that there have been some bad reviews, but I chose upon reccomendation of the CM who made my reservations, she said that was her fav and it had been a while since I had eaten there. I liked looking at the castle and the water, we were there early so it was not crowded or noisy, though. There are a lot of great restaurants I think you just need to find "yours".

the whle expreience at V&A is fab and so romantic, if moneys not too much of an issue then thts where id go!

for cinderellas royal table you can order a specialty cake at 407-824-7091. im ordering a cake there too but for my bridesmaid lunch.

as for the most romantic restaurant, we really like le bistro de paris at france ws in epcot. its very intimate, good food & if you get a window seat a nice view of illuminations. we also love le cellier at canada ws, the food here is superb, its cozy with a fireplace & stone walls. no matter what you choose congrats & happy planning!

We had a very romantic dinner at the Bistro in Paris at Epcot.

Of course we are partial to the California Grill since our wedding reception was held there. It's all about what equals romance to you.

Something that might be very romantic, would be a Wishes Cruise aboard the Grand I, with a private, butler-served dinner. Expensive but romantic!

Go for Vicky's and Al's. The food is great. The service is phenomenal. It is very, very romantic.
