2 Questions: Anniv Cake and DDE Card?

I've read references in quite a few threads about a DDE Card, but for us newbies, what is that? How does it work and what are the benefits?

Also, I've read that you can order a cake for your anniversary by calling at least 48 hours in advance. We would like to order a cake for our 25th wedding anniversary to be served at our family lunch (7 people) at Cinderella's Royal Table. Who would I call about this? Does anyone have contact information or other details?

The DDE card is available for passholders, florida residents, and DVC members (I think). It allows the cardholder to get 20% off their meal and up to 9 others at most of the table service restaurants at WDW.

DDE is an option for AP holders and for Florida residents...DVC doesn't qualify.
You would have to call the restaurant directly for any type of special cake. I have 407-824-7091 as the number for CRT to call for special cakes...at least that's what my notes say!

The DDE is Disney's Dining Experience. It's only available to FL residents and AP holders (Annual Pass). It costs $60 and saves you 20% off your total dining meals. This includes alcoholic beverages! There are a few more benefits also. As an AP holder you will also save 10%-20% off lunch at select resort and Epcot restaurants. The links below have ALL the information you need including lists of participating restaurants. I have already purchased my AP. The main reason I got the AP is so I could get a HUGE discount on my resort costs. Only one person in your party needs the AP/DDE to get the discounts. The AP/DDE will cover 4-10 people! You need to read the details for each restaurant to see how many people have access to the discount. I just learned about the DDE yesterday myself. I plan on using it.
