2 Questions about MK........

Friends of ours are going there July 5-11. Which day between mon-thursday would be the least crowded? I know it will be packed every day, but what day would you reccomend if they arrive as soon as MK opens. They are just driving in for the day and staying 1 hour away at there parents house.

Question 2...........anybody have the phone number for PS for a character breakfast or lunch? They have 2 boys ages 4-5.

Go to the MK any day EXCEPT MONDAY !!!

And they can call (407) WDW-DINE to make PS's for any of the character meals. Probably advisable to do it soon since slots can fill up quickly during peak seasons.

Why do you say not Monday? It is not the holiday, it is not early entry day (day after) so why would Monday be so crowded at MK that Monday? I have friends who will also be t here at same time!

If they are early risers, might be best to go Sunday July 6 and Thursday July 10th if they can for EE days and then move from MK to somewhere else if the crowds get too thick.

I know you asked for one day only but I thought the above angle might be a thought as well

I heard MK was ok all days but Saturday's were always busier - never heard do not go on a Monday - be curious to hear this viewpoint

Yep, 407-WDW-DINE and if in the room, 55 for quick dial and I think it was *88 or something like that from a park pay phone....

Since they're not staying onsite, I would avoid early entry days if it were me. They might also want to check to see if Spectromagic and the fireworks are scheduled if they want to see those. JMHO.

The "avoid MK Mondays" stems from the fact that most folks on a weekly vacation will arrive over the weekend, settle in, and hit MK first as it is the most popular park.

There might be some weight to that argument but I think it should be fine (well, "fine" in early July speak). Just avoid Saturdays. Sunday and Thursday are the Early Entry days now so Monday should be a safe bet.
